Not sure if it's been mentioned (and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong), but the official Vicky Leyton now has posters outside every bar in which she performs. Demaria (her daughter) is usually on this poster also and performs her own act. I know The Zodiac have the two on together, but most of the other bars have them on different days.

Unless the official poster is outside a bar - ignore any PR's telling you that Sticky Vicky is on, they'll more than likely be lying about it to get you in. If you do listen to these PR's advertising Sticky Vicky, once you get inside, you'll be greeted with another act, not Vicky Leyton. Not half as tasteful and a let down compared to the genuine Vicky.

I seen both Vicky and Demaria last week and both were fantastic! :cheers

The "other" Sticky seems to be advertising herself as "Sticky Star" now!

Percy...just seen your post, if its Cabaret Bars you fancy, there are not any very close to where you are!....A good night in The Old Town though which is close, id the Rich Bitch Drag show, great entertainment!...Prob the nearest Caberet Bar to you is The Tower Lounge, on calle Gerona, try to get in on Thurs or Sun, when the Brilliant Deb n Her are on...really lovely lassies and the best Harmonies in Benidorm!

Once you get on the main strip you will be spoilt for choice, but the busiest Cabaret Bar at the moment is certainly Morgans Tavern....really good acts on now, including again Deb n Her, Sister Act, One Vision etc!....The Boyzone Tribute very good too...Stardust or Rachels usually for them!...And if you get chance pop into the TOWN club, to see Benidorms best Singer Neil Ross...he is superb!...a couple of good comics there to, Davy Royal & Rikki Stevens..plus Beni´s best Elvis...Dave Keegan!

If you get as far as Flamingo Oasis area..then you´ve got The Rock and Roll House, Rachels, & The Tropical for more great acts...Julie Dee does a brilliant Tina Turner at Rachels! If you need anymore info...just ask!

For a latest update on DebnHer´s new band Rock-It Demons. I went along to one of their rehersals on Monday with Shutey, at Morgans Tavern. I´ll tell you something they are going to be awesome!! Its great to hear them doing some great Soft Rock Anthems, which suits the girls voices perfectly, and backed up with Miguel´s superb guitar work and a damn fine drummer in Simon, its going to be one heck of a show!

They will probably get their first Live Gig up and running next week. They are wanting to get everything spot on before bringing it to the stage. But for anyone coming to Beni soon, them look out for them, they will be starting off with it in Morgans Tavern.

I was with the girls again last night, in fact i watched all three of their gigs in different venues, and they put on top class performances as always! They really are two cracking lassies, two of the nicest people you could wish to meet, as well as being superb performers. I love spending time in their company when i´m in Beni, and recommend them to anyone as they sing such a great variety of songs..something for everyone!

Morgans Tavern itself is putting on some really good acts at the moment, and is definitely the busiest showbar in Beni just now!

Another Bar doing great business is The Town, here there´s the superb voice of Neil Ross who i see as often as possible, him and Norma are two lovely people, followed by 2 great comics, Davy Royal & Rikki Stevens, plus Dave Keegan as Elvis, and theres now a Pink Tribute there too

In short...I´m having a great time as ever!

Finally there's a small chink of light at the end of a very long dark tunnell!!!

The Why Not 2 has been taken over by Tad (of Yorkshire Pride "fame"). It's still just a karaoke bar, no food (before anyone complains again about the food etc!!! lol). Stevie Nelson is the karaoke host in there. All new staff...... It opened last night.

And the Pheasant Plucker is re-opening tonight with a free buffet and karaoke. The new owners of this bar are Kevin (from Why Not 2!! see the link there! lol) and Mark.

I was lucky enough to be at Rock-It Demons opening gig at Morgans Tavern last night!!..Well what an Awesome night it was, they went down a storm and got a Standing Ovation at the end!!...Debbie & Emma were brilliant, dont know if i was more nervous than them before hand, but it all fell into place brilliantly, and they really did have the place rocking! A really great night, and i can see them going from strength to strength with this!

The Rock-It Demons show will be running 3 nights a week at Morgans Tavern at 1am, in conjunction with DebnHer show. I think the nights at the moment are Mon, thurs & Sat, but of course these can change. They are going to be giving it a run out up at The Tropical Bar too!

I came back from Benidorm on Wednesday after a fantastic week.. We saw The Cabeytu brothers for the 1st time and I would recommend them to young and old.. they are amazing.. so versatile.. They are 2 Argentinian Brothers who sing and play lots of different instruments.. they are very talented as well as very sexy!!! They are currently playing at The Jail Rock bar on Calle Gerona at 10.30pm every night except Wednesday.

We also saw Take That at Cafe Benidorm, they were ok but stay away from the local G&T, it's disgusting!!! :cry
Boyzone were good.. we saw them at Stardusts on Tuesday at 12.30am, (one of the guys used to be in the Westlife tribute)

Deb n Her were better than ever before.. and they were great before :) saw them at The Tropical Bar on Wednesday at either 11pm or 12am can't quite remember.. they have also formed a new band by the name of Rock It Demons and played their debut gig at Morgans on Monday which by all accounts was brilliant... I really would have liked to have seen them but it was my brothers Birthday that night and we had made other plans.. The girls are great, so down to earth and friendly, well worth watching.

The Drop Inn was as good as ever for breakfast.. and it's still only 2.50 euros..
We also ate at Hof Van Holland, (my favourite restaurant in Benidorm) The Magic Roundabout, China Garden Chinese just next to The Cavern (formally The Liverpool arms)
we all had a set 3 course meal with wine for an unbelievable 4.95 euro's per person.

We also had a nice meal at Las Dunes on the front..

We discovered the Secret Fountain but Shhhhhhhhhhh it's a secret ;) Yeh it was really worth checking out.. They have sun loungers and a lovely terraced area that's quite a suntrap.. You can also use The Marina pool next door if you buy a drink. The prices were very reasonable and the Sangria was very moorish.

Better go now as I have loads to do.. have fun everyone...

Sue :)
