Hi

I want to go to Thailand for the first time, i have heard amazing things but i am a beginner and concerned about picking the wrong island, wrong hotel etc.

I am looking to go to Thailand and stay at a 4-5 star hotel on the beach, i would like to have things to do when i get there, but i dont want to travel for days.

When is the best time of year for me to go?? what is the best island?? can you recommend a really nice hotel with good atmosphere and plenty going on??
