It is down near the River Princess the toilets are fine the food is brilliant we have been going there for the last 15-16 years. Kevin

They were doing the lottery for south goa today
You might be able to get a list of the winners but I don't think it would do you any good as uncle Tom Cobley and his dog apply and then sell the licences on to the real shack owners

I have sent you a PM with a link to another forum where "Towerpower" made a list of all the shacks from the Baga river to the River Princess last Janauary, can I put your name forward to do it this season

I really hope so - we will not be in Goa this coming season but do wish that this is going to be the first time it will sorted out at the begiinning of the season.
I do feel for the first charters from Europe who will be in Goa next week - friends who live there said there is nothing there for them except dirty beaches and loads of plastic bottles everywhere. A couple of shacks and a few restaurants open.
They will have no Goan "experience" - the shacks - the Kashmiri hard selling - the shops on Calangute High Street - going round the dirty Calangute Market - Mapusa Market on a Friday - Saturday Night market etc etc.
Whey do these Charter Companies take people one month before the season start - they will only lose out - take tourists when the tourist season is in full swing.

Surely that should be "why aren't things ready when the tourists start to arrive?"
