Hi, me and my husband are going to the Sun Tropical Hotel on 16th Jan and was just wondering if anyone can tell me if the rooms have hair driers and kettles. Also, what sort of temperatures can we expect this time of year.
Thank you for any information on this hotel.

Many thanks for that Glynis, really appreciate it
I'm going here in March. It's had pretty mixed reviews on Tripadvisor but I'm keeping level headed and expecting what I paid for.
just booked a two week all inclusive for the family for october. not been to lanzarote. it'll be a change from salou(6 times). read a lot of reviews(mixed) so it's what you make of it yourself really. not a good traveller so 4 hour flight is not what im looking forward to hopefully there will be a movie on board to take my mind off it. and a wee
@beermat who are you travelling with? we're going on thomas cook and there's no teles on the plane. absolutely ridiculous for a 4 hour flight, i'm really shocked. if you want to watch movies or tv, or play games, you have to rent a psp on board.
yep going with thomas cook and i'll not be hiring a psp it wont keep me amused for the four hours. just have to try and read
I will post a review when i return, I'm going with an open mind as have seen good and bad reviews, i'm just looking forward to seeing some warm sunshine
hi anyone just back? what was it like?
The food was good and quite a good choice, we also went to the Pizza and Tapas resturants, which you can go to once each per week.
I haven't written my review yet, but will soon, but if you have any questions, let me know.
@janelouise63 what were balconies like? could you sit on them or were they shaded?
hi janeloiuse im glad you had a great time and look forward to reading your review. ive opted to request high floor near the pool. was there loads of choice on the food? what was the entertainment like? what like was the flight? sorry for all the questions. any info will be most helpful cos i go in october.
beermat - the appartments are only 2 floors high and 4 blocks have a pool in the middle. We were in room 403 There is also, a large main pool with children's water play area. There was a good choice of food at each meal and unless you are a really fussy eater, you certainly wont starve!!! I enjoyed the food at both the pizza and tapas resturants. The only downside was that the snacks weren't that good, but to be honest, we really didn't need them lol!! The entertainment wasn't really that good, but then it was the reps first week together at that hotel and they did a good job considering. The flight was ok and took nearly 4 hours, and considering there was no flight entertainment, it seemed to go quite quick. Don't worry about asking questions, thats what we're all here for and I'm sure you will have a great time
thanks for your reply. we're not fussy eaters but i do love my desserts in spain!! did you get drinks with your meals?reading reviews were very mixed quite a few people said not to bother with the tapas and the other restuarant and to stick to the main one for food. i will probably try it.did you go into town of an evening? any nice places to go and see? thanks for any replies
Can you tell me if pool towels are provided here? We're going for a week on 11th April and hopefully that's something less I need to pack!
Many thanks
Myself and my partner are coming 9th june. We would like to know what is include in the All Inclusive and what things we have to pay for?
Going on thursday, will let everyone know my opinion! Can't wait personally
read some not too good reviews on trip advisor going in october a bit dissed about this.
beermat - yes you do get drinks with your meals if you are all inclusive - wine, beer and softdrinks, but I'm afraid there weren't really many desserts when we were there. I would definately recommend you try the tapas and pizza as we had lovely meals there. We did go into town once in the evening, and had a pleasant walk around, but most of time we strolled down there during the day. We went on a trip to the Timafaya National Park (sorry probably spelt wrong!!) and this was a really good day out and encluded seeing alot of the surrounding area. I'm sure you will have a fab time
Scottismum - I think you can pay a deposit and get pool towels, but we had taken our own so didn't bother. Have a great time
edamslave - all food, drink entertainment etc is included but you can pay extra for extra snacks at the Chicken Shack if you want them (pizza, chips and sandwiches are included in all inc though) - enjoy
Did they have cocktails included in all inclusive and what was the best venue for the evening? The Dome or Village tavern? Also does the 'Chicken Shack' have any chicken or is it just the name as I've only read about people having pizza chips and sandwiches?
Cheers for any help
