When this sort of thing happens it's usually because the discussion has become too intemperate and/or is contrary to the sites T&Cs or because the Mods have decided that some of the content could result in legal action being taken against against HT. In those circumstances, they 'pull' the thread, do the necessary editing and then make it available again with an explanation of their reasons.

Hi happy, I was looking for it as well as havent been on for a couple of days as unwell. thought I was going mad. As said they sometimes clean them up a bit so it might re-appear later. If not you could pm a Mod or Admin, they are very helpful they might know where it ahs gone, sometimes they move them to a more appropriate forum.

At LAST !!! Great news, all sorted but unfortunately I cant go into details.
Suffice to say, I shall be off to Portugal in May, different hotel though as the one I planned to stay in in Dec is contracted out to a Dutch, ( I think!) tour op from April onwards !!

It was very sad though that my original thread was hijacked and abused to the point of the mods having to remove it, BUT its certainly been an eye opener as to how tour ops work & also how they post on forums !!

Will avoid tour ops at all costs in the future & have now got special insurance to cover for almost all eventualities !
