Hi Neil.Sherwood Breezes is an ok Hotel. You will not find much outside as they are still building it up.No building allowed during visitor periods.There are two or three Dolmus ( small Buses ) than run to Antalya Centre 1.5 Lira each person.We live about 4 K from it and our friends have stayed there and had good reports.Enjoy your holiday.

Are there any ATM's close by? I usually use my Nationwide flex card when aboroad.

We usually go to Cyprus but thought I would try Turkey, I assume the weather is pretty similar in October?

Hi Neil.yes two Banks within walking distance so you should have no problem.I also believe that some of the hotels have cash machines.

I was told today that you also have to pay £10(english notes) each to gain entry at the airport, is this correct? It was never mentioned by Thomas Cook!!

Hi Neil. That is correct. £10 each including the children and Baby if there is one.You will get this before Passport Control.

And make sure you put one ten pound note for each person in the passports. If you try and use a £20 you wil not be given change.

Looking forward to our first trip to Turkey, the Sherwood seems to get good reviews as does Lara Beach in general.

Does anyone know if there are any shops around Lara Beach? I have read the ones in the hotels are expensive.
