Andy_Mandy,
The aircraft should be coming in from Varadero, Cuba.
Darren
Many Thanks for that info staying the night at Manchester Airport and always look forward to watching the planes come and go from the hotel Window(Always ask for an airport view).
Regards
Andy
Thanks.
Welcome onboard
I've merged your post with our Thomas Cook airlines topic as you'll find extensive information here. MAN-SFB-MAN (TCX226/7) are showing on my screen as being operated by the regular long haul Airbus A330-200. I think it was originally scheduled as the leased TCX Scandanavia Airbus A330-300 that has a higher density configuration. You'll find lots of aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below) including seat plans, aircraft and cabin photos.

"Thank you for booking with Direct Holidays.
We are writing to advise you of some information about your flights with Thomas Cook.
As a result of an increased flying programme from Newcastle this summer we will be using additional
aircraft from both Mint and Astraeus Airlines. These aircraft will fly on behalf of Thomas Cook with timings
and flight code remaining unchanged.
The service on board will be operated to our usual high standard by our own Thomas Cook cabin crew.
This notification is for advice only and there is no further action required by yourselves.
Yours sincerely"
are these aircrafts the same as the thomas cook aircraft?????
Hi Scully
Thanks Shirley
You'll also find aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). In terms of facilities and seat pitch, Mint (757-200) and Astraeus (757-200 & 737) are basically the same as TCX.
Darren
Thanks Darren
hi im not flying out until the 11/08/2011 but i was just wanting to know what plane will be used, will it be ex my travel or thomas cook? and also will it have the cameras? my flight number is O/B is TCX314 and I/B TCX315. thanks!
Hi Darren, Could you please tell me what plane we should have, although it might be too early to tell now?
Welcome onboard
MAN-PUJ-MAN (TCX314/5) are operated by an Airbus A330-200. It's way too early to know the exact aircraft assigned to your flight, ie if it's an ex-MYT or TCX as they are swapped and changed throughout the season. TCX may not even know that at the moment! If you ask closer to the time, we'll give you more information.
Darren
liam12189,
Thanks.
Thanks very much Darren
First time on here so bear with me.
Can anybody tell me the aircraft type that will fly the Manchester- Las Palmas (Gran Canaria) on 04/07/11 and return 11/07/11?
Flight numbers- TCX 2216 and TCX 2217
Thanks In Advance
Pete =D
TCK2438/2439 - 11/07-18/07 2011. The "how are you travelling" bit has a thomas cook airlines B763 but i'm not too sure what that means could mean anything (but of course could mean a 767-300).
Tar very much
Nick
Oooh I hope sooo, I'm a bit of a geek, and I've never been on a widebody before...
peter b, i imagine a 767-300 to be like a 757 only on steriods. From watching you tube to me it seems like a slower climber. Even if it's only do 1800 odd miles to KFU and back. (thats a guesstimate).
thanks in advance..
