Hi, I wonder if anyone could tell me the details of the plane being used for tcx226 8th June 11 Manchester to Sanford returning on 22nd June tcx227. We were originally told that the flight operated with 29" seat pitch with no seat back entertainment, we pre booked our seats, then thomas cook changed the return flight times and the seat plan shows fewer seats with a different seat configuration. Does the plane have a bigger seat pitch with seat back entertainment?

MAN-SFB-MAN (TCX226/7) are showing on my screen as being operated by the regular long haul Airbus A330-200. I think it was originally scheduled as the leased TCX Scandanavia Airbus A330-300 that has a higher density configuration. You'll also find aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). In terms of facilities and seat pitch, Mint (757-200) and Astraeus (757-200 & 737) are basically the same as TCX.

It's way too early to know the exact aircraft assigned to your flight, ie if it's an ex-MYT or TCX as they are swapped and changed throughout the season. TCX may not even know that at the moment! If you ask closer to the time, we'll give you more information.

I got giddy and asked this in february.
TCK2438/2439 - 11/07-18/07 2011. The "how are you travelling" bit has a thomas cook airlines B763 but i'm not too sure what that means could mean anything (but of course could mean a 767-300).

Oooh I hope sooo, I'm a bit of a geek, and I've never been on a widebody before...
peter b, i imagine a 767-300 to be like a 757 only on steriods. From watching you tube to me it seems like a slower climber. Even if it's only do 1800 odd miles to KFU and back. (thats a guesstimate).
does anyone know, whats happening with the premium cabin, outbound? tcx148 manchester-cancun... will it be empty or will it be available on check-in?
