Hello,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this or if I just can't find the answer anywhere else. I am trying to find out the prices of duty free cigarettes on Thomson longhaul planes. I am going to the Dominican in June and I would like to compare them to the airport prices. I have tried google and can't seem to find any prices.
Looking for "deals" on their 400 packs. I remember last year there was a great offer and just wanted to check this out.
Can anyone help me with this.
Thanks
Emily

ekingy,

I posted a price list here. It varies slightly depending on departure airport but it'll give you an idea. Alternatively, you'll find the online version of Thomsons inflight retail range here. I think the tobacco page is 37-38. In general, there's not a lot of difference in prices between the flight and airport. If anything, they're slightly cheaper on the flight.

DAVIDC,

IFE for May won't be released until next week. I'll link it from our What Aircraft? guide (link below) once it's known.

Garry_Nutter,

What date? Or at least day of the week and summer or winter? I need something to work with! It's likely to be a Boeing 757-200 regardless.

Hi,

I have just booked a flight to Cancun departing Friday 10th June, 09.15 TOM062 from Gatwick.

Do you know what plane it will be, presumably 767 but type and if ex FCA?

Also would you know where the plane is coming in from before this flight?

And also our return flight is TOM075 on Tuesday 21st June. Will this be the same plane?

Thanks in anticipation, you guys are so knowledgable!

I know it sounds a silly question but why do so many people want to know where their plane is coming from before they get on it? ar some places more prne to having delays or something? I just thought i'd ask.

graeme235,

It's just so you know if you can expect a delay or not. It won't make any difference to when you check-in as even with a delay of several hours, you need to check-in at the scheduled time, but it's just about information and knowing if things are on time or not. Delays can happen for any number of reasons. Nowhere is more prone to anywhere else.

ianuk74,

LGW-CUN-LGW (TOM062/75) are operated by an ex-FCA Boeing 767-300/ER. The aircraft should come in from Cancun (TOM093).
