I got in touch with my hotel in Calis beach about a month before travelling,
they sent me a e-mail back saying contact them 2 days before travel.
That was in 2009.Got the room I asked for.
2010 contacted them 2 days before we travelled,got he room we wanted.
Going to do the same for my next visit in September 2011.

Note to all holiday makers
If you have booked for high season please contact with your hoteliers,over bookings it will be problem this summer July and August

Funny thing I just read enca48's post at 3.50pm,
because at 3.45pm I had just e-mailed my hotel in Calis beach,
to notify flight time change to dalaman airport,& also to confirm
pricing agreed for hotel & transfer.
Seems great minds think alike.

I received a e-mail from my hotel ( 3rd year running same hotel ) to
confirm everything,I had offered to pay some money up front,but
the owner of the hotel said nothing to pay upfront,just pay me when
you get to the hotel.
