Have booked a Speedy tranfer(4 stops max) with resorthoppa Dalaman to Marmaris £18 for the both of us one way,(happy to get the coach going home)
It was £11 pp but i found a discount code for 15% off so happy bunny
The code is 15OFFVC if anyone is booking soon it expires next sunday
I used Resort Hopper for my transfer, £13 return, was a good transfer, couldn't complain at all about it. Changed my accomm and rang them and no problem, the shuttle bus was there on time at new accom to pick me up.
How many stops Col?
Just under 2 hours from Dalaman to Icmeler, with a 10 min wee stop, and think 4 or 5 drop offs, mainly in Marmaris. Not bad considering transfers that go direct do it in 90 mins and charge £100 ish.
Has anyone used bodrumairporttaxis.com for their transfer? They seem to be part of the HHB group but unfortunately can't find any reviews for them.
Re Yesil Dalyan Travel Transfers. I had the misfortune to have my transfer booked through this agency after booking via Travel Republic who then use Transfers4U.com. No problem with the inbound airport pick-up from Bodrum to Akyarlar near Turgutreis other than I was last drop off after de-touring through Gumbet!? However the return pick-up was confirmed as instructed to do so 48hours before departure and this was followed up by fax from Yesil Dalyan to the hotel reception confirming the pick-up details as 12.40am. The pick-up was never made and despite phone calls to the number quoted it remained unanswered in the early hours of the morning; the emergency number quoted was a wrong number! so no contact could be made whatsoever. After the hotel reception phoned for the taxi service from Turgutreis, as local taxis were unavailable at that time of the night, I then had to endure a frantic journey to the airport to make check-in on time. At the airport I saw one of the passengers who had been dropped off in Gumbet by the same mini-bus and after asking he if had been pick-up for the return journey learned that he too had been left stranded as another couple also had, so Yesil Dalyan had failed to make that particular journey back to the airport for any of the passengers on that particular route and had also failed to notify them. My partner lives in Turkey and was able to contact them the following day to lodge a complaint, but because I made the reservation they would only deal with the complaint if I wrote in about it. I wrote to TravelRepublic who say they were only acting as agents and have passed it over, 28 days have elapsed and there is no reply from Yesil Dalyan; a further 14 days have been allowed for them to respond. Transfers4U.com have now responded informing me I am not entitled to my taxi fare back which amounted to 130 lira but only the return transfer payment I made. As Turkey is a country that does not issue receipts freely this seems to have little importance, added to the fact that the urgency was to make it to the airport. I would not recommend Yesil Dalyan to anyone after such couldn't care less attitude as when things go wrong and they are to blame they are reluctant to admit they are at fault. I have travelled to Turkey for the last 14 years and used transfers many times without a problem except for Resorthoppa who on a previou occasion at the airport told me my transfer was to the resort only and not a pecific hotel - they then charged me extra for transfer to a specific hotel! Who goes on holiday not to stay in a hotel, apartment or villa?
How can I check to see who they use for transfer shuttle services?
The flight is a Thomas Cook no frills flight and the reference for the Booking Ref is booking reference removed for personal security. Dazbo HT Mod
Does this mean I'm using Thomas Cook's transfer or will it be their own???
I'm confused and concerned now!
I'm really sorry to hear about your recent experience with Transfers4u. As you can see from previous comments, it's not often that we encounter any problems. If you email us at hotels4u.pr@gmail.com with your booking reference we can look into your complaint and see if we can help resolve the issue.
SunSeeker2011 - Please do not worry, it's very rare for mishaps to occur and we always do our best to rectify the situation if there are any complications. As you didn't book your transfer with us I suggest that you contact Travel Republic and check who your transfer provider is, and if you have any further questions we can take it from there.
If there are any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Many Thanks,
Chris

DO NOT USE marmaris-transfers.com.
2 years ago charged us 90pounds return and did not pick us up at the end of our holiday [they forgot!]. Luckily a dolmus driver lived in the apartment block took us and claimed the money from them. Hopefully he got paid

paulandmarie ... when you posted 2 years ago, you said that it was marmaris-transfers.com, which appears to be a completely different website to marmaristransfers.com. To avoid any confusion, could you just confirm please which company or website you used.
EDIT: Thanks for editing your post to clarify company name

Just contacted Travel Republic and they tell me that the resort transfer company is 'holiday taxis' and the transfer is from Bodrum airport to Turgetries.
We were Dalaman to Hisaronu though so can't give you any advice regarding their stand etc.
On the way out we were escorted to mini bus but were hanging around for a while - then we were told we'd been waiting for some bloke who hadn't turned up. Not the company's fault. Soon after we left the airport the driver stopped at a shop and we thought 'oh no now what?' but he appeared with bottles of cold water for us all so that was a nice touch.
Return pick up was on time (tad early rather than late). There was only us and another woman on the bus so airport run was quick and smooth.
Do remember though to phone 2 days before to confirm your pick up. The number will be on your TR invoice
We may not need cold water as our flight doesn't arrive into Turkey until 3:20am lol.
Yes, I know we need to call them 2 days before, once again, thanks for the reply.

They were extremely quick and helpful in their reply to me and put our minds at rest re us not having to change bus at Marmaris (2 hours away ). It appears that the area has 2 Hisaronu's - Fethiye (where we were going) and Hisaronu Marmaris (2 hours away) & TR mixed them up Phew!
Ah! Just remembered that I contacted the company before we left due to a misunderstanding in an email TR sent me. The company is actually United Blue - details here They were extremely quick and helpful in their reply to me and put our minds at rest re us not having to change bus at Marmaris (2 hours away ). It appears that the area has 2 Hisaronu's - Fethiye (where we were going) and Hisaronu Marmaris (2 hours away) & TR mixed them up Phew!
There is a firm called A2Btransfers, they provide transfers all over the world,
I know people who use them regular, they provide a video on their website for
you to see their vehicles they use.
The charges are very cheap, when you book there is a one off booking fee of a £1
Hi, can anyone tell me what the transfer time is from Bodrum airport to Kadikalesi.
on google maps is says approx 1 hour x
Hello all... I have booked a transfer with icmelertransfers at £80 return for private one. Is it normal to give the £80 in full after initial drop off? Feel slightly strange about this but if it's the norm then so be it!
They both claim no more than a 45 minute wait at the airport, although Resort Hoppa do have the "Speedy Shuttle Max 4 Stops" option.
As there is just 2 of us travelling, using one of these shuttles looks to save around £50 over a private transfer, which could doubtless be wisely invested in meals and Efes!
Cheers.
I've booked my holiday with Travel Republic back in January. All the relevant paperwork was emailed instantly (all automatic I assume) but having just re-read through it and looking on the website regarding flight tickets, apparently they send an email with printable flight tickets between 10-14 days before departure.
Again, I assume, all this is ok (as they would have gone out of business by now if not) but would like re-assurance that this kind of ticket system is fine? I've always gone with high-street travel agents before and got the 'official' flight tickets with them.
Thanks,
Justin
