A large Efes is, on average, around 5TL, although you can get it cheaper in some pubs and restaurants. Set meal prices are anything from 16-30TL, depending on where you go and what you have. Chicken dishes will be at the cheaper end of the range, while steak will be more expensive. There were some great deals to be had while we were there for the past fortnight - most places have boards outside displaying their special set menus, so just shop around.

in icmeler at the moment , it isfairly quiet, and the weather is very pleasent not to hot!!!! the set menus are very good value and what has been previously written is a reasonable indication of prices, however you may struggle to find efes below five this is due to the goverment tax placed on alcohol, you can find it slightly cheaper but it is draught mainly and my old man prefers the bottles (i dont drink it myself)Nefes pide is fantastic value we had a meal that fed 12 from here three nights ago that consisted of 5 lamachuns, one chicken shish, one cheese pide, one mixed pide, chicken wings side salad bread ,bulger, urfa kebeb and eight ayrans and it came to a grand total of around 50 lire so if you get the chance check them out , the eating out side of icmeler is still excellent value for money a full english is around 5/6 lire if thats your thing turkish breakfast about the same in touristy places, however if you like a good drink and enjoy spirits it is becoming more expensive than britain(well our home town anyway)A bottle of jack daniels is around 100 lire in the supermarkets so you can imagine what bars are charging, local spirits and wine are around 7/8 lire with mixers which personally (particually wine) i find more expensive than at home, however the exchange rate is good but if it begins to drop things will become more expensive again
