Can you give a precise date from. ? and maybe the price you want to pay.?
I think you're going to be very lucky with the swimming pool request at that time of year and especially in a small complex.
The complex I go in has one of the most fabulous pools in the area, but it closes the day before we go back in September.

I've got Residencia Dali in mind....it fits the requests, but only available from 25th October.

hi and thanks very much for the replies. I'm arriving 23 and leaving 29 october. Residencia Dali was the one I really wanted which was suggested here and elsewhere by JoJo but yes, it's booked for half our days. The first suggestion by glenis is the one I'm awaiting a reply from. The second one looks lovely and thanks because I hadn't seen that one. I'll get in touch with them and see if it's available. the other possibilities are ones I have seen in:-Vista Azul (about 10 minutes walk away); imperial Puerto and also another one more in Benalmedena which is up a short but steep hill from the Marina. there are a couple more round the far side of Torremolinos but I don't know how far it would take me to walk to Carihuela from there. We like self-catering as we want the space to relax as we usually come back in the afternoons for a bit of a rest and let the kids watch a bit of TV etc. the other possibility is staying in the Boliches area of Fuengirola which sounds like it might be a bit similar to Carihuela ie mainly spanish local people but with tourists as well. Any further suggestions would be great.
