This last sentence is not representative of all the pilots' views at Monarch. Most acknowledge that these are hard times and if this is what the business needs then this is what must be done. Many people at Monarch have long been preparing for this much rumoured announcement. We can now look forward to fleet renewal and expansion along with expansion into new routes previously not operated by Monarch and new UK bases. In the medium term, Monarch Airlines' long haul strategy will be strengthened against the background of a fully developed short haul offering. They intend to rely on other long haul fleet solutions when the need arises.

dobbo345, your flight will be operated on an A321-200. More details of this aircraft can be found on the What Aircraft Guide.

Many Thanks
delly70, your flight is operated on an A300B4-605R. More details on this aircraft can be found on the What Aircraft Guide I cannot honestly say what the seat width on this plane is but if you say that you are on the larger side then I would suggest avoiding the rows with a fixed armrest. These rows are 1, 2, 3, 9, 31 and 36. Some people feel these are more narrow than the other seats. Please be aware that although extra legroom seats provide a greater seat pitch, the width is no greater. At least in a seat with a moveable armrest you will be able to put this up to give you that little bit more space. You might want to have a word with the person at check and ask nicely if you could be seated next to a spare seat, if there are any. Alternatively, rows 37-43 is where the aircraft narrows at the rear and the seat configuration narrows from 3-3-3 to 2-3-2. If you are traveling with just one other person then you may want to consider selecting one of these seats online before you go. You can pre-select your seat to TFS from MAN for £8.99 one way. Details of how to do this can be found here on the Monarch website.

Which aircraft will I be flying on tomorrow (13th) BHX-TFS, ZB932 and where is the originating flight coming from?
The BHX-TFS ZB932 tomorrow is operated on an A321-200. More details of this aircraft can be found on the What Aircraft Guide and pictures can be found on My Media page. The flight it operates before yours is the BHX-AGP-BHX (Malaga) ZB970/1.
Thanks for the info.
many thanks
Lydia_girl wrote:Hi there what does the MAN-FAO do originally before it does that flight on 18/09..
Please don't forget to include flight numbers when asking for information. There are 2 flights from MAN to FAO on this day. Assuming you mean the ZB594/5 on the A300 then the flight before this is the MAN/PVK (Preveza) MON5642/3
Please can any one help

Can anyone tell me the difference between Monarch flights that are prefixed MON or ZB. I've flown with Monarch ZB flight LGW/FAO good legroom. Just flown Monarh MON prefix LGW/TABA, and the legroom was horrendous.
I was just wondering if you know what aircraft registration may fly BHX-FUE next Wednesday 28th Sept, ZB438 and the return on the 5th Oct ZB439
Also my wife has booked leg room seats, row 26, just wondering if that row is any good at all?
Thank you, Adam.
08:10 ZB238 ARRECIFE DELAYED 16:05
also see ryanair have cancelled an arrecife flight to gatwick
The only difference between ZB and MON prefixes are ZB is Monarch scheduled flights and MON are Monarch charter flights, the aircraft are the same for both ZB and MON.
Hope that helps.
Alan
Thanks for that BigAl, not sure why there should be such a difference in legroom though, crazy airlines.....
Can anyone tell me what plane will I be on if I am traveliing from Gatwick to Sanford on Thursday 13th of October at 9.15am?
Also if you could let me know if premium seats are available on this plane that would be great,
Thanks,
Rob.
