If it was showing a 2-4-2 configuration on the seat plan when you booked, presumably they have changed the aircraft.
If you leave the date you are flying someone with access to the flight schedules will be able to check it.
thanks,
LGW-DLM-LGW (MON1484/5) are showing as operated by Airbus A330-200. You'll find all the aircraft information on the link below.

Flight MON 1484 Monach airlines B757 ? is this the norm ? but are operating A330 - 200 ?
gregg
I can only pass on what I see on my screen. It could be a change for the day of your flight.
Darren
Daz, can you tell me the seating layout, my flight is LGW to DLM flight number MON 1484, I have booked extra leg room seats on both out and in bound flights beliving the front 7 rows were 2-4-2 now tickets have arrived and it states monarch airlines B757
Gregg, just wanted to confirm what Darren says is correct. Your flight is down to be an A332 and is presently crewed for this. I ought to point out though that booking extra legroom seats does not guarantee that you will be in the front 7 seats. There is extra legroom seating on the A332 at row 9, row 30 and on either side of the cabin where the aircraft narrows at the rear and the seating config is 2-4-2. The front of the aircraft is usually used for Premium service on long haul flights. Although not guaranteed I would imagine these seats would be allocated to people paying for extra legroom first and are well worth the additional cost. I am interested to know how you knew the seating config was such at the front of the aircraft. Is it something you picked up from Darren's What Aircraft Guide or a seat guide website, knowing that you would be on an A330, or were you told at time of booking?
Flying out of Manchester monday 11th june on Monarch 1828 to corfu, noticed this monday the flight was delayed for five and a half hours outbound, Whats the reasons for this? also could you please tell me what aircraft operates this route?
Many thanks
Lezley
Delays happen for a multitude of reasons from late passengers, baggage problems, weather, technical delays, air traffic restrictions to name but a few. Just because a flight is delayed one week doesn't mean it will be the next. Airlines and airports strive to keep to schedules, it's as much an inconvenience for them as it is for passengers. Past performance of a specific flight is no indicator of future performance. The delay looks to have been due to the aircraft being late inbound. MAN-CFU-MAN (MON1828/9) are operated by Airbus A300B4-605R. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Does your magical system tell you which aircraft Monarch are planning to operate on the following? My search on FlightTracker shows both the A321 and A300 (and occasionally the A330) flying this route on these flight numbers.
14JUN LGW/SSH ZB248
17JUN SSH/LGW ZB249
Many thanks in advance.

It certainly does! On the dates quoted, LGW-SSH-LGW (ZB248/9) are scheduled to be operated by Airbus A300B4-605R.
Darren
WOW that was quick service! Thank you for the information and very prompt reply
Ok Darren, thanks for the info, large aircraft to use on short haul isnt it.
marknlez,
Does anyone know if Monarch still have IFE on their ZB flights to Cyprus. Thanks
IFE information is on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). It was stopped at the beginning of June on all short and medium haul flights.
Darren
Cheers Daz.
I was told of the config and type of aircraft by the person at monarch when i made the booking for the extra leg room seats ( £100 ) for both out and in bound flights and was told that they have put it in the notes for seats 5 A & 5 B as i requested row 4 but was told these are already booked, I dont mind which aircraft it is as i was on the B757 last year, so it is nice to fly on different ones - the A332-200 seems pretty big and the front seats config seems good too, - will have to wait and see what turns up at the gate !!
ps
also checked the config of A332-200 on a website of monarch aircraft which confirmed the seating plans which i was told at time of booking seats.
gregg
I'm sure this has been covered but there doesn't seem to be a 'search topic' facility on here.
Do they preallocate seats? Just wondering whether we need to add seat selection or not.
Thanks

They allocate seat numbers at check in for people that haven't prebook seats.
Thanks for very fast reply, I can get on with booking now. I will be back very shortly asking for aircraft information
