With regards to some of the delays I have heard reports from a crew member I know that Thomsonfly are spreading crew a little thin with min rest periods/shifts and length of routes being given for example from a few weeks back
Crew are scheduled to operate EMA-SSH at 14:30 but aircraft has tech fault upon arrival in SSH which delays flight by 2 hours which pushes the crew into discretionary time as past standard duty hours as dont arrive back until 5am
The next day the crew are due to operate a EMA- BOD at 15:00 but even though the aircraft is there the crew have not had their min rest period so that flight gets pushed back an hour and half. So it gets very difficult to catch up until crew on the next shift pattern take over
We travelled on G-OBYG today down to Antalya (was nice to see the new livery) but noticed the return flight is now cancelled. I did notice that upon landing once some of the passengers had disembarked, the captain came out the cockpit and immediately went to look at engine 2. When we got off the plane I noticed that the reverse thruster on the right engine was still open/looked jammed?? Is this the reason for the cancellation and surely it could now be grounded in Antalya for quite a while??
The flight went really smoothly but I suppose these things happen every now and then

Way back in Jan you advised that TOM4744 LGW to TFS 12th Aug out return 26th Aug should be operated by a 738 is this correct?, and if so what is the chance of having the new sky interior.
markhelen
Many thanks in advance.
LGW-TFS-LGW (TOM4744/5) are operated by Boeing 737-800. As for the specific registration or if it'll be one of the newer aircraft with the sky interior, that's impossible to say this far out given the fleet is regularly rotated. It's a different aircraft every Sunday normaly.

Lgw to tfs tom4458 /59 13th sep which aircraft on this route and which config is the aircraft
Also what rows will be the extra leg room seats
Thank you for your time
LGW-TFS-LGW (TOM4458/9) are operated by Boeing 737-800 between 7th June and 25th October. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below) including a link to the seating plan where extra legroom seats are indicated (front rows and 15 /16).

Thanks very much

Thanks Darren, where does the Aircraft come from before this flight as it's had a delay for the past few Saturdays?, any chance which A321 it is. Again many thanks.
Just wondering if you can help me out. I'm looking to book some seats on TOM2268 & TOM2269 (return), which is a Thomson B737-800 afaik. I'm just wondering if you can give me some info on which seats have good and clear windows.
I would hate to sit on a row without a window, or even half a window for that matter.
My girlfriend wants us to go on holiday and I said ok - as long as I get to sit next to the window. If I don't get a window then my holiday will be ruined. All that time in the sun and heat for nothing.
So guys/girls, do you know any good window seats? I would prefer not to sit right at the front or right at the back, or over the wing, but somewhere between the wing and the back or wing and the front. Any ideas?
Thanks!
I would go for rows 3-6/11-12, some rows around 8/9 have no widow and anything past 14 gets interupted bu the wings.
Hi what aircraft will I be travelling on flight TOM7222/7223 East Mids to Zakynthos?
delly70,
Does anybody know what has happened to flight TOM515 SSH-EMA as flight left UK yesterday but arrival back into EMA is now 27 hours late ?
uno28,
Thanks Dazbo- I presume it went Tech at SSH and then crew have gone out of hours and are having to fly another crew out today. I am a little surprised at legnth of delay would have thought be quicker to fly empty aircraft and crew out to bring them back.
Not at this time of year, it's peak season with very little margin in the schedules. Few airlines have £30 million of aircraft sat idle.
Darren
Was wondering, no flight numbers but what aircraft type opertares from Man to Palma dept 14.9.12 at 06:00am and return 21.9.12 @ 12:30pm
