I can see that point of view. The twice I have been were in October and April - and so it was before the first charter flight and at the end of the season. We didn't see all the rows of beds anyway.
I definitely need shade though so its a bit more difficult. Would easily "buy" chairs and brolly if I could "sell back" at the end of the holiday.
