Cant understand why building the hotels has caused unemployment I would have thought it had increased employment prospects.However I do undwerstand there have been some isolated incidents as there are in most holiday destinations.
I believe these were the workers who were employed in the construction of the hotels and now that the hotels are completed there is no more work for them.
