Hi all,
I have a question for you - can anyone recommend a waterproof compact camera (not the single disposable type)? I'm looking for one that I can take snorkelling & swimming with on our hols to Mexico & next year's trip too & my budget is up to £175.
I'm not fussed about the make, as long as the picture quality is good? My local Jessops went bust, the Sony shop has one but that's way over my budget, so I've been looking on Amazon & am confused as there are quite a few to choose from.
Any ideas?
Thanks for any help
Ang
If you don't need anything for deeper than 5m, the Olympus Tough TG-630 is pretty good and has half decent image quality. If you need something deeper (up to 12m), the Pentax Optio WG-2 isn't too bad. I have one for work but take it with me on my travels for snorkelling and shallow diving and it's not too bad. Noise performance isn't great (many compacts aren't), but it's functional and within your budget if you need something to go deeper.
