My computer has been out of action for weeks and I've had to make do with my tablet, which has a mind of its own

A couple of days ago I booked a holiday on line, which went through fine, including payment. Because I wasn't completely confident I took screen shots of all the confirmation pages. On checking these l found that although my postcode was correct I apparently lived in a town called Jungles (perhaps they'd seen my garden!) I had to phone Customer Services to get it corrected.

That raises the question as to why my credit card company didn't query it
