I am getting strange text in all the reports ie: (Sari's. We then went to a village in national park, it is very poor, but we were invited into one of the villagers' house for the best onion bajhi's I've ever tasted)
Have you any idea what is causing it?

These are most probably old posts that didn't get converted properly from the old to the new software. This was due to a wrong language setting in the database.
New posts should not have these.

Replace the strange text for an apostrophe. 
It is a bit of a pain Denis but it was beyond our control. Only thing we can do is edit the pages we find with this on them.
