After reading a number of posts, I wanted to write a quick post about a venue we visited earlier this year. Despite the madness and disruption of COVID and Lockdowns, we managed to get to France for a week at a lovely venue called Firs Lake - Carp fishing France family accommodation.

It was just myself and my partner and our 7 year old and it was just SO chilled and relaxing, THE perfect getaway. The lake is about 2-3 acres in size stocked with Carp and Catfish as well as a small stock pond full of small carp - where the kids can float fish.

The house is lovely and has everything you need, and the lake is right outside the house, so BBQ's on the patio, and a cool beer while the sun sets and having a kick about on the lawn perfect.
