Chloe,

When we went (Apr 02-09) we didn't have any rain until we were waiting for the coach to take us back to the airport. We had 3 "hot" days, 2 "warm" days and 2 "typically British" days. The pool and sea were very cold, but that was early April.

I would certainly recommend trying the hotel restaurant once during your stay, because as I said the quality of the food was very good.

I don't know how old your siblings are, but I would thoroughly recommend a visit to Marineland, especially the Dolphin and Sealion show (sit in the middle opposite the sealions about 6 rows back next to the central aisle for a very close up view of one of the sealions!!). We walked from the hotel (35-40 minutes) and taxied back.

Have a great time and say hello to room 201 from me!!

thanks fsg, your report was very professional, we are also looking at the coral beach hotel tenerife, so once again thak you julie.

You never said when you're going. I would not take kids in high season due to the number of young folk in the Aquasol. I would estimate about 75% last July were "youth". Too much noise etc but also not enough kids for clubs/games.

Thankyou FZG.

Marineland info duley noted! Just another attraction to keep them (me!) occupied!

Hi Markscott1,

We have just got back from the Aquasol, thomas cook have a kids cliub (which is free, execpt for a couple of events they do) Sam and Mich are running that, Mich is a bit of a moaner, kept saying that he had a broken ribv so he couldnt go in the pool, sam was good she loved to have a laugh, the last thing i done when the coach turned up was throw her in the pool, AGAIN. The hotel also hire there own enternaiment team, Yvonne and Andy, they are both loads of fun and love to have a laugh, apart from saturady night there is a good show on every night in the hotel, i highly recomend Jon Paul Bradshaw and Ian James. there have a kids disco very night at 2030, then a warm up quiz, then 3 games of bingo (we won nearly 300Euros on that) then the show starts at 2230 until 0000, after that the music goes on till 0100ish and the bar stays open.

If you are looking for a lazy holiday around the pool then this is ideal, they do a few games in the afternoon, killer pool, killer darts, pistol shooting, rifle shooting, water volleyball and a few others that i cant think of at the mo. It is a case of if you want to join in then you can and of you dont you dont.

Have a good time of you are going, we are going back again.

S Jackson

Hi all,

Has anyone ever upgraded direct with the Aquasol?

Have tried to email them direct with the address given on this site, but it has bounced back to me.

Want to try for a 2 bedroom instead of the one bedroom I have booked, but don't fancy paying the tour operator price for it!

Cheers,
Jinty

Going to try and upgrade to a 2 bedoom apt. directy with the Aquasol, (too expensive with tour operator). We are taking our Grandaughter and Grandson and think the extra space wld help.

Anyone been to the Aquasol and can offer advise as to whether it's worth it?

Cheers,
Jinty
