At last I've got my tickets for the med cruise leaving 21 May (Lirica).

It's been a hard slog getting there and payment for a single cabin but I'm now happy.

I'm about to decide what I should pack and what I should leave, if I start now plenty of time to change my mind!

I'm a bit new to internet chatting, is there a list of us for this cruise, it would be good to meet for a drink after all the struggle we've had to get there?
This is the first holiday I've taken on my own for many years, I let you know how I get on.

I received a phone call today offering me a place on above cruise due to cancellation. Although it is short notice I accepted, but wont get details or confirmation until Thursday or Friday this week, and my flight is on Sunday from Gatwick.
Dont know whether you can put me in BOLD yet but I am optimistic.
Price £10 plus cost of hotel overnight in Milan

Hy All, I had a call from Rise Travel about half an hour ago, I am now going somewhere else. sorry I shall not be meeting Rosie Price and Partner May and whoever else was on the Lirica on June 18th. instead I am going on the opera , same date 18th June from Standstead to Venice . Bari somehwere in Greece, Istanbul and Dubrovnik. so anyone going on the same trip, feel free to say Hya. I shall have a badge on with this screen name." Floeeohy Ahoy shipmates hehehehe.

Cruise allocation-never comfirmed.

Dear Luci,
Last year I was allocated a Caribbean cruise going out of Houston on 05-11-05, but like many others I have heard nothing since!! Please would you add my name to the list.
I have rung the Express, emailed and written letters, but I have been ignored. I have also added my name to the data base that Watchdog is keeping.

Where and When-£10 Express Cruise Offer.

I am going on Thomson Spirit/Red Sea Magic on 2nd February 2006.

I received a stock standard letter in response to a letter I wrote to Express Newspapers's Group Joint Managing Director. It seems that things are moving, so hopefully more hopefuls will get their cruises in time.

Legal Action

Got fed up waiting for replies to letters and listening to that recorded message countless times. Have initiated court action. Express group has 13 days to respond. Will let you know how I get on. Found it difficult to quantify amount but fed up being taken for a ride.

After the drubbing hoover got, you would think a paper would have more sense.

hey guys don't get too excited, there is no "they are taking action" it is just me. However occasionally the courts come through for the small guy. After all the Daily express leads with the statement "The paper that stands for real values"

Maybe they will stand for decency
