Do not know the campsites you are going to as we took our own caravan, Lake Annecy is beautiful go to Mont Blanc if you have transport we went up on the train to the glacier spectacular get there as early as you can and as soon as you arrive at the glacier book a return journey but leave enough time to walk to the glacier, we saw the eclipse from the Moet Chandon vineyards so if you have any specific questions I will try and answer we adore France and hope to live there one day G

Thanks we were thinking of going to geneva for the day as well have you ever done this?

It looks fairly straight forward and less than a hour away just wonderd if there were any customs issues

Didn't get to Geneva it was at a time when the tunnel/s was closed due to a serious accident and my husband didn't fancy the journey, this was one I didn't win! regards G
