Hi Graham, thank you for the info and the very generous offer to keep our Gbejna company, however, that won't be neccessary as I have contacted the manufacturers direct to see if they can send us a box of galletti's and they will keep the Gbejna company on there arrival
, one of our friends in Sliema has very kindly offered to post us some but the chances of them getting here without turning in to dust are probably quite slim
, we are off to Italy next week so will be having a look to see if they do something similar
, glad you like em though they are really nice biscuits and ideal for cheese and pate, and are wonderfull beer companions with cheese or salami when in Malta, or even saturday night in front of the TV with a large glass of proper scrumpy :).
Also, have to fully agree about your recent posting on the aviation museum at Ta Qali, it is a great place and really interesting, Mrs Sliema2 doesn't have much interest in that kind of thing but even she enjoyed it there, I enjoyed it greatley as I had only just finished reading a great book on WW2 in Malta called "Fortress Malta- an Island under siege by James Holland" in which pilots like Wing Commander Adrian Warburton & Alex Mackie were mentionedn and of course as you know there are artifacts from both these pilots and many others at the museum, the crafts centre is also a good place to potter about in (no pun intended) before heading up to Dingli, Rabat, or Mdina for a spot of lunch and a few beers.
Regards
Sliema2
