Lobos Bahia and baku waterpark

Bit worried again now!

First Choice have finally replied to my email fo two weeks ago
They are saying now its not just the Car park and Reception that is being rebulit, there is a block of apartments that is having building work done to it as well

They didnt seem that confident it will be open on time either!

Also they say the baku waterpark is not open yet, even though in the Brochure is states it is

Any help anyone??

hi matty think you will find the baku waterpark opened last november.and the apartments being built are nothing to do with lobos but they are a new development at the back of the site.dont know where firstchoice get there info but it looks 6 months out of date lol. :D.they are right about the apartments not being complete though,but as i said they are not lobos apartments.

Hi, could anyone put my mind at ease?
i am due to go to these appartments in early july and i have heard that the lobos bahia are currently closed for refurbishment and will not be open until 28 june. Does anyone have any additional information if they will definately open on time??

hi jo have no updates yet but as soon as i do i,ll post them.we paid for our holiday in full last saturday and asked the T/A for any updates.she said that as far as they knew work was on schedule.when do you go ? we dont go till aug 24th.i am on here most days so will update asap

Hi, David

I'm due to go to the lobos on the 9th July and the travel company 'Panarama' say there is no risk currently of the apartments not being opened.I'm not convinced thats why i'm asking for advice, can anyone else shed some light on this issue? :roll:

Hi david, Thanks for your help on this matter. to-day ive been in contact with the tour operator the new date ive been given for the appartments opening is 29th June.Do you think i need to be worried!!!!! :

hi jo i have,nt had the updated email yet but i can tell you that as far as i know the apartments are ok and the ongoing building work is the reception area and carpark at the front of the complex.from the pictures i recieved it looks like the main structure is in place and the work is going at a steady pace.which again i,ve been led to believe is good.hope this helps and like i,ve said before as soon as i know more ill drop you a line

hi jo and matty have just been on the other website and a post there says that thomson holidays are saying that lobos wont be open till mid august.think we need too contact our travel agents !!!!!!

apparently first choice are still saying that lobos will be open on the 28th june and airtours are none the wiser !!!!!.as said previously it is the reception and car park areas undergoing building work if that helps.ill try and keep you updated as best i can.

building work at lobos bahia

I am going on 17th August 05 to this hotel and have recently been told that building work is going on, does anyone know how bad it is?
