I am no expert but when the Euro gets there everything will go up in price just look at the rest who are gullible enough to use it.
Prices have already started to rise, so no doubt will continue when the euro is introduced!
this is the time to buy, as for the Cy£ changing to the Euro currencies Cyprus has a lot of work to do on it's economy first, and the future change over in 2007 may have to be put back, even then you could only guess what the outcome will be regarding property prices, as Kath as said prices are rising slightly here as you would expect after accession to the EU, but it is still far cheaper to live permanently in Cyprus than most EU countries, for example our yearly rates bill is £104...yes you read this correct, water bill for us here in Trimithousa is very low at £12 a quarter, fuel prices have recently come down! petrol is a third cheaper than the UK.some things are more expensive here clothes are a third dearer than the UK but you only need shorts and t-shirts most of the year, heating cost are low during our short winters, we have free hot water for most of the year, so in conclusion Cyprus in my humble opinion will always be cheaper place to live compared to the UK.......what are you waiting for!!

At this moment property prices are going nowhere, in fact you can almost ask your own price within reason, and an educated guess is http://groups.msn.com/cyprusliving/welcome.msnw
