Hi Allisu,
I've sent to a pm - hope it arrives. I had trouble sending pms yesterday. Would you let me know if you dont receive it.
Thanks again for all your help
Jean
Just got back from my cruise on the Opera yesterday and it was fantastic.
I met about 10 people from this offer and although 6 of us were in pairs the other 4 that were travelling alone all had no problems so there is no need to worry about travelling alone. I also met a few other English people who were not part of this offer and had paid considerably more for their holidays!
I will be putting a review on soon but if anybody is due to go on the Opera they are in for a great time. I am already saving for my next cruise
Sarah
We've all had fantastic holidays - everyone yet to go should be very excited!
Jean - Just to let you know I replied to your pm - but it's still in my outbox so perhaps you are still having trouble with yours!

Great news re Sarah and David, fantastic lets read the reviews, it is certainly wetting my appitite for our Oct rumble in the med.
Sorry not posted for a few days, went down to Cornwall £75 by train, for 5 hours of torture in an overheated sweaty carrage with no opening windows. It seemed the air conditioning was not working - what happened to the 'age of the train' as they used to say in the adverts of the 70s & 80s.
Came back on Saturday - ready for Sunday (Fathers Day) I should not have bothered a Tie (now have 32) Socks (3 pack from Primark) and Old Spice (small one) the little mites bought me an tea pot at the car boot sale. for 25p At least I will use it.
Must dash now and try to read the reviews - good luck to those going this week - lets hope the weather holds.
Byeeeee for now

Arrived home at midnight last night and haven't yet had time to look back at what's been happening and how people got on, will look forward to that tomorrow when I am more compus mentus! Still in cotton wool land, not helped by spending what seemed like most of yesterday sitting on the tarmac at Heathrow!
I will of course write a review when time permits but I can reassure all Armonians, forget any worries you have! She is a fantastic ship! Polished and cleaned to the nth degree! The food was superb and soooooooooo much of it! Staff are fantastic, all in all, a wonderful experience, every minute of it!
If Armonia can be used as a yardstick, every single MSC cruise will be super!
Cheers everyone!
Welcome Home Magsey, Sounds like you had simular experiance to Sarah & David. :pele
Welcome home
not helped by spending what seemed like most of yesterday sitting on the tarmac at Heathrow!
A bit too dramatic a protest just 'cos you didn't want your holiday to end!!!
Anyone want to join me on another cruise? First though, we have to pull a bank job! - and I don't mean as a cashier!!!!! Allisu, judging by what happened to your luggage, sounds to me that you look the part!!!!!! Now if I had just had that iron yesterday...........well!
Thank you for bringing some sunshine back with you. You have missed some dreadful weather in Scotland while you were away.
Like almost everyone before you loved it! Although it seems very early, considering many of us haven't been yet, or even been allocated a cruise yet, there has been some talk on some of the other threads about a possible reunion cruise some time in the future for all the HT posters. What do you think of that idea?
I am looking forward to reading your thoughts when you manage to recover enough to write your review.
Welcome home Magsy. I'm so glad you had a good time and we look forward to reading your review. I'll talk to you later.
what is all this about the tarmac? glad you are back ,its been very quiet without you.now we can all get back to normal whatever that is!!!!!!!!!!i hope you didnt get the bd weather yesterday.speak to you soon .
carol
Sounds like you had a great time - i look foward to reading your review, welcome back
Craig - am sure a HT meet is possible - Im meeting up with several HT people in Birmingham in August for a fun night out then meeting others for a picnic the next day - took some arranging but we got there cant wait for that - and of course my cruise in 12 days time
Alison
hope you brought a bit of back for scotland as it seems to have been a bit damp in your part of the world. cheers vivien
Glad to hear you had a fantastic holiday Magsy, hope you're ready for the deluge of questions. I'm really looking forward to reading all about all of your experiences on board and on shore.
Where have all the rest of you early June cruisers got to? there havent been many reviews yet from you, let us know what you thought of cruising and the ships and ports of call, even if its only a few lines. It keeps us all looking forward to our cruises, mine's under 2 weeks now.
Almost starting the countdown to tickets and number of sleeps left.
I agree with Magsy that's it wonderful - great ship, great food, great ports of call. I'm enjoying Corfu today with Santorini tomorrow. It's bloomin hot, but so are you, I hear.
Glad Magsy got back safely, despite long spell on tarmac.
We've got captain's do tonight. Those about to go, don't worry about dress code - you see all variations and they're all fine, so wear what you're comfortable in.
I'll post more when I get back.
Jackie.
Hi Cardiff Girl, (Jackie)
Great news about the dress code my sarong and flip flops will not go amiss then, must find where to buy those dimond things for the flip flops. It is so long ago now I forgot who first of all mentioned them, I will be keeping up apperances by wearing my dicky through out captains bash
Byeeee for now
off to Primark - to return the socks - size 6-8 I ask you

Well we're back from the Melody - someone else is going to do a review and some piccies but just to say we all had a great time! Super food (table 82 for Luigi!). Wonderful time was had by all - it was so nice that we all got on so well, and it was thanks to the Holiday Truths website!!! Some people did moan, but they would moan anywhere - but we had a whale of a time, and two of our table (no names mentioned) blagged their way into both sittings of the captains cocktails!
Don't you worry Phil, you will be resplendant in your dickie and sarong! If you can't find diamonte for your flip flops I will send you some! Wouldn't do to let the whole ensemble down now would it!
Glad you had a great time Maggyb and I suspect you will be indundated with pm's to find out how to blag 2 captain's cocktail parties, not that I think for one second it was you!
When I left Cardiff Girl at St. Marks Square on Sunday morning I was feeling a bit sad that my adventure wasn't just starting too - oh well, just have to start saving for the next one!
I gather there hasn't been any movement on the new cruise front! Let's hope things start moving again very soon! Keep heart all of you who are waiting, it will be worth it when you get there!
Nice to have you back Magsy I am sure all those of us still waiting for a cruise appreciate, as I do, that you are thinking of us. It is great to hear that you are all meeting up and having a great time. One small advantage to going next year is that I will have plenty of time to sew sequins and diamante on both flipflops and sarong and do everything in my power to find out the way to blag two Captain's cocktail parties. On second thoughts that might not be a good idea as I could be too sozzled to get to dinner and the entertainment.
