Hi Carol,
Thank you for your welcome! Yes, you are all still very much in my mind, especially now that I know just how good it all is! I would get started on the flip flops now because your turn will come around quickly!
Go ahead full speed with blagging plans because I promise you you won't miss not having one dinner and besides, you can fill up at the buffet before hand so no usual disaster re drinking on an empty stomach!
It shouldn't be too long now before you all hear something and I can hardly wait to hear all your good news!
Cheers,Magsy, for the PM. Great news about the food. I'll also agree that your posts were missed while you were sailing.
Again I'll say that everyone who has been cruising regardless of on which ship seem to have had a whale of a time.I hope that this continues into 2006 i wonder if i could maybe blag another cruise after i ve been on mine(less than two weeks to go Hurray). Do you think its worth a try?????
ann
Blag another cruise Ann, just get behind me in the queue! You are so lucky to have yours ahead of you and I can now speak from experience! Just remember everyone, this is an Italian cruise line and has a large mix of nationalities. It suited me perfectly but may not be everyone's cup of tea. I definitely preferred it to an all British cruise, it was interesting to watch the different nationalities and how they behave!
Well here I am back in the U.K after an enthralling journey with a most delightful bunch of Expressionists. I shall do a review later but for now I would say that all of you out there who are lucky enough to get a cruise, will not be disappointed. MSC are not a bunch of amateurs and this ship will give you a wonderful introduction to cruising or add to your current collection of cruise memories. I would like to back up what Maggy says and add that everybody at our table and the three lovely ladies who sat at their own table were wonderful company and a joy to have spent some time with. Everybody had to some degree or another had to fight to get a trip, 5 with the help of Holiday Truth and 5 without. More than 50 % had been offered a South American Cruise and when the offer was withdrawn made a determined and ultimately successful effort to get their rightful place on a cruise. Some did pay for extras and some got free upgrades up to and including a Mini Suite without asking. An interesting conversation with a member of staff was to reveal that they knew nothing of the Expressionists before the first cruise but now recount with delight the tears and tantrums of some Holiday Truthers, knowing us by our real names and our pseudonyms. All stories about individuals on these pages must remain confidential but is nice to know that other people other than myself do embarrassing things on their holidays. By the way the 3 ladies on the other table had a combined age of over 220 and still took part in the cruise as if they were born to it. So keep up the fight and I will post a review shortly along with some pictures.
Come on Bangormaine you can not geta way with saying
We must know what you mean, it will not go beyond this inner sanctumother than myself do embarrassing things on their holidays.

I'm one of the new members, having just come back from Melody and being told about the web site (I was not an Expresser so missed all that fun).
Yes, I know how bangormaine blagged his way into the second cocktail session, and Maggie and I saw the photos to prove it - all you have to do is work it out. The captain couldn't!!!!
I'd be happy to do this type of cruise again if I could guarantee meeting people like those I met last week! Hi to maggyb, bangormaine, dean village and elaine p's mum.
lesleyplay
Welcome aboard the good ship HolidayTruths!!
Hope you left the Melody tidy when you disembarked (toilet seats down etc) as some of us are sailing on 4th July!!
TonW
I went to first Captain's do, although I should have gone to second as I was 2nd sitting.
I never thought to go again, nobody would have known - could have had another 4 glasses of bubbly and more martinis
Now you know what to do to get doubles! Although 2 photo sessions with Captain Stiffa might be too much
glad you had a really good cruise, but you have missed months of anticipation, humour and friends by not finding this site ...but now you have ..so welcome to the happy fun farm

It`s really good to hear these positive experiences........I hope Rise are still monitoring this site and realise that we are a pretty positive lot.
Any disgruntlement really has been caused by the way this offer was handled and not as a result of our attitudes.
OMG.............not long now to the Independance Day Cruiseeee!!
Good to know also that others are being sucsesseful fighting on their own and I look forward to meeting them along with the crew from here. The more the merrier
if Rise are still monitoring this site, they could realise that they can sell another promotion cruise for say £200 per person , as they will tell their customer that they have 200-300 customers in the wings waiting.... ...
so thats our renunion cruise sorted
kate

Hi Lesleyplay, Welcome to HT, even if you are a bit late and have missed a lot of the fun and games. As one of Tony's coven/harem I can only reiterate his remarks. - Less than two weeks to go now before we set sail.
I got a lot of catching up to do, can see Phil is still keeping all entertained with his balcony cruise ..... mmmmmmmmmmm wonder how one gets on that trip lol ...... is it just bring a bottle with u phil and u r allowed on board lol....
Well i went on my cruise last week on the opera what a truely absolutely fantastic experience .... cannot wait to do another .... the ship was truely beautiful, the food wonderful, the entertainment fantastic and omg i thought i had died and gone to heaven when those men in white kept appearing .... the crew that is not angels .... i love men in uniform mmmmmm lol by the way phil do you wear a uniform?????
Will do a review but honestly it was just fantastic am now converted to cruising lol and trust me will be on another before the end of the year and if you organise one magsy count me.
Thank you magsy for all your help leading up to my cruise you are an absolute star ...... love patricia xx
I told you the cruise bug would get you - works almost every time! So pleased you had a great cruise on a great ship and look forward to your review!!!!
wonder how one gets on that trip lol
Easy to get on Phil`s balcony...............just fall over a lump of carelessly placed iron and into the canal then he will make you an honorary lifetime member of the balcony cruise!!
(Once you`ve gained the minimum requirement of a gammy leg, the parrot on the shoulder is an optional extra!)
This cruise bug that everyone is talking about seems to be highly contagious. Everyone so far seems to have received a vicious bite.
