You are brill - just read your review, how do you remember so much - do you take notes or not drink, I would not remember half of that - you were VERY VERY lucky you had 2 yes 2 waste bins. But you make NO mention of the fruit bowl, but I think we can forgive at least one lapse. Unless they had been reading the postings

I have had an E-mail from a Virginia Eastman at "Working Lunch" asking if I have had my cruise. Had forgotten I E-mailed them.
Next cruise is on Tuesday - special evening cruise on an Isle of Wight ferry to see the fleet in the Solent. That cost more than £10!

Hi Maureen, How do we contact 'Working Lunch'? It might be worth me trying them as I have had no joy after waiting 21 days for Rise to get in touch. Surprise, surprise!

No upgrade as such but instead of grade 3 inside ive got grade 4 inside comfort no.9261. Gosh i'm so happyyyyyyyyyyyyy

to all who are sailing this next week have a lovely time. vivien
Where can I find Magsy's review? Thanks.
re Armonia - there was fruit in your cabin, there was a minibar which also including Ferrerro Rocher Choccies if you wanted to pay for them. Someone from our table told me she placed one on her hubbie's pillow every night on the cruise - I said the only thing I placed on my or anyone else's pillow was my head! There were umpteen little bottles of shampoo, shower gel. Useful to wash out the remains of the choccies! There were "Do not Disturb" notices to place on your door, which seemed to be an invitation for the cabin staff to then knock at times when you were in the shower etc. Yes, this happened, twice. Actually we had a lovely time despite being caught out in Athens in the middle of a Metro strike, due to a Public Service Action it closed 12-3pm on the day we were there but we got back to the ship on time, a bit scarey, though. It only costs 60 cents each way on the Metro into Athens. Half hour walk from the Port of Piraeus to the Metro. Use a map, not easy to locate. Things are coming back to me now - all those little Japanese women buying up the bottles of Lavender oil, in Dubrovnik market, ah so. The sharp elbows of certain people. The walk on the Volcanic Island, the swim in the Caldera, Santorini. It is thundering here just now. Happy cruising everyone.
I am exactly the same, little things coming back like the laundry/ironing service and the ice buckets filled twice a day!
I would certainly not cart soap, shower gel or shampoo all that way again, I tried them all and they were fine so I will save the weight next time I go!
I take it you didn't win another cruise on the Bingo then! I could have used some of that ice from the cabin; on the way back I bought two huge blocks of choc from Duty Free at Venice airport on the hottest day of the year, slighty different in shape now! Now looking very interesting in the fridge, somewhat melted if you know what I mean, Salvador Dali could have used them for a model!
Keep it and enter it for the Turner prize! Then you can take us all back!
Magsy - Ha!
Just a couple of questions to ask if you dont mind. You made other arrangements when you went on your cruise because of a threatened strike, Did the strike happen and if so how did your fellow cruisers get on? Still bothered about our cruise because of strike allthough I think I will just stick to first arrangements and hope we are ok. Thanks for your help Allisue and your alternative flight to Nice sounds good.
Barb
Did the strike happen and if so how did your fellow cruisers get on?
Barb :).......... the strike did not happen - I think HT might have exploded with their anger if there had been one and they'd missed the ship
I was just happy not to even have to consider the possibility of not being in Genoa at the right time.
Alli
Great review, l expected nothing less of course from you !!!
Glad to hear all went well, whens the next one??
cheers
Myles
Nice one on getting your tickets...............still waiting for mine for the 4/7 cruise. (Damp nose pressed expectantly against letterbox, trying not to look desperate!!)
Lovely news Annj. I hope the rest of us going 3rd and 4th July get them soon.
I keep thinking of little items I forgot and of course the important one - NO - you do not get a face flannel!!!!! Towels for every conceivable occasion, showering, sunbeds and the beach, but NO flannels!
Still a few 3/7 Armonians who haven't reported ticket arrival yet - come out come out wherever you are!
