Someone should make me ambasador of "worlds best beach" and pay for me and my family to travel the world looking for this "best beach". I promise I would let you all know the result upon my return
Lisa,
constantine bay in Cornwall is lovely and it cvan be damm hot in the summer and im sure you can even surf, so we do have beeches in the uk which stand up to the best around the world
Barafundle bay, Stackpole, Pembrokeshire-hands down.
how about camber sands kent lol....
a bit late on the discussion but my fav is the beach in Santa Lucia Cuba.
Any beach in Menorca you can only reach by boat or Cala'n Mitjania (spelling iffy) just off the road into Cala Galdana. White powder sand and crystal clear, warm sea...........stunning
Whitley Bay Beach. I grew up there and miss it terribly since moving out here to sunny Tenerife.
La sagesse Bay in Grenada is excellent, but I always recommend Porth Curno in Cornwall, the best beach for me so far.
That could start a new topic "best beach in Britain" beach at camber sands has got to have a mention, very child friendly !!!
I'd have to go for Whitehaven Beach in the Whitsunday Islands - Australia - 100% Pure Silica Sand I have never ever seen anything so white and soft in my life - we went on a very cloudy thundery day and you still had to wear you sunglasses as it was so bright. AMAZING
Cape Tribulation beach far North Queensland where the rain forest meets the reef - beautiful.
I'm sorry, but... You're all wrong! The best beach in the world is Bamboo Island, Nr. Phi Phi Island, Thailand - check out the picture and let me know what you think.
A close second I would say.........
Maybe they is more than one of the worlds greatest beaches?
It is all a matter of personal choice. If we all liked the same beach it would be really crowded.
portmarnock beach - dublin and i love macronissos beach in ayia napa
Kinshaldy beach, St Andrews, Fife and also Sa Coma beach, Mallorca. These are two of my favourite spots. Mallorca in Summer and St Andrews in either Spring or Autumn. Both fantastic stunning locations.
I must say I can't disagree with those choices, been on both beaches, they are great in there own way. Mind you Sa Coma beach was at least 25 years ago.
