Hi hope you can help me, we are going to mamaris next month and staying in the kaan appartments problem is i can't find anything about them. any information from anybody who knows of the kaan or knows of a web site where i can get any information would be appreciated.

I have tried to find some info for you but there seems to be no reports on any of the websites i have looked at.
I did find this site http://www.perfectchoiceholidays.com it gives you some photos of the aparts.
I think that the aparts are in the Siteler area of marmaris and are located beside the Pineta Hotel so if you can find a map of marmaris you will be able to pinpoint Kaan aparts.

hi im also staying at these apartments on 29th aug 05 the pictures ive seen look nice enough although they are 5km from the town centre the dolmus buses run till 1am.here are 2 sites you can look at hope these help if your going before us keep us posted.cheers INVALID URL

Glad you had a good holiday, we have booked the Kaan for next year, and I read your review and was well pleased.

As I am taking two teenagers with me they want to know how far it would be to walk, or taxi, the beach front. ie. Brother Fun Bar etc. I think I have a fair idea where the apartments are, but probably when we get there I am totally wrong

Hi Jenn,

The kaan apts are on the edge of Marmaris as if you are travelling to Icmeler.On foot it takes 5 minutes to walk from the apts to the busy main Marmaris/Icmeler road.When you get to this road there is a bar/restaraunt called the 3 Brothers family fun bar,directly across the road slightly to the left.I don't know if this is the bar you mean?The bar can be accessed from the beach as well as the main road.

I notice you have teenagers.we have 3 lad's and they are 17,15 & 12 and they all enjoyed the holiday.I don't know if you have been to Turkey before,we went in 2003 and we noticed quite a differance in the prices compared to 2 years ago,but we found it still reasonable when eating out.

Thanks for your reply, we have been to Turkey a few times, twice to Marmaris and once to Gumbet, but this year we headed to Salou in Spain just for a change, wish we hadn't bothered now, we really missed Turkey. We have noticed over the years prices going up, but I imagine it would still be a lot cheaper that Spain, we found Salou to be very expensive this year.

I know exactly were you are talking about, that is were I had imagined they would be ................

Next year is a long way off, but really looking forward to it,

Hi all got back yesterday morning from staying at the kaan apartments as promised i will tell you what i think of the kaan.
first of all we was staying on the top floor (4th ) a bit of a problem banging head as the ceiling slopes to go out onto the balcony the room is very basic no seating area as i have seen on net, be careful of the cold water taps they splurt out knocking glass out of my partners hand, our room was cleaned every day, clean towels and sheets but we did hear form other people that their rooms was dirty and wasn't cleaned as often.
we was always pleasant to the cleaners so this may have helped.
if you are put on the top floor and it is a problem for you complain straight away to the manager and your rep, couple next door to us did and they was moved. but others weren't. When we was there the heat was too much the air conditioning a bit pricey £25 a week, safety deposit £10 a week, you can use the computer for 2.50 ytl for half an hour.
They have a bar by the pool we only stayed the once open till about 2 in the morning. Oh yes just remembered you only get one toilet roll a week so take a little extra.
The best thing about these apartments was how close they where to the beach and the marmaris market this is only a small market and not very good the best was the icmeler on a thursday a lot of the stalls had the prices on which helps so no haggling, to get to icmeler you go on the icmeler dolmus for 1.50ytl and if you want to go to the harbour which i recomend you get the marmaris dolmus for 1ytl. if there is anything you want to know leave me a message and i will do my best to answer.. hope this helps..... carolexxxx

Has anyone stayed or planning to stay in these apartments, we have booked for late August this year, and I would like to have a fair idea as to the location, they are not on the map which I have. The reports look pretty reasonable, so I am not worried about the apartments themselves, but just the location. I will have to teenagers with me and they want to know how far they are away from the beach front bars etc:
