Would like to go to Tozeur next year, but need to go early or late in season due to heat, and that won't be possible, but hey, there's always the Spring of '08!

Three days to go; 4am on Saturday 16th we leave our home. France by 10.30 local time and then arrive in Tunis via La Goulette on Tuesday.
We'll be visiting; Hamman Lif, Dougga, Termersa, Kebili, Djerba, Douz, Ksar Ghilane, a small oasis on the Douiret to K. Ghilane piste, Darjane (another oasis), 4 nights in the desert, camping and various other towns and villages along the way.
This'll be the third time in as many years. We return to UK on the 10th January.

Haven't been around in a while, I'm going to Tunisia tomorrow for 2 days to just chill out, relax with my friends, etc.
Will be staying in Monastir, although if it get a little too boring I may have to nick someone's couch in sousse
9 times tomorrow
Supposed to be at work tomorrow, but I'm going sick, had enough, need a break..hehe

god so wish i was just doing that i cant wait to go and live there next year. i might be a bit optomistic at the moment but i have lived there in the summer but i have made a deal with myself to go and get a proper tan. when i was there i came back whiter than i went. but if i went now just like you on the sick no one would no as its not sunbathing weather is it?
i am working all over christmas and i am really considering it!!!

It weren't too bad, not sunbathing weather, but warmer than here. Went there, saw my friends, had a good time.
I don't feel bad at all, infact I would pull a few sickies throughout the year at strategic times and go away. Not enough for them to kick up a stink but man, what is occupational sick pay for if you can't use it to get tanned and feel good? I just say to myself, I'm sick of work, that's a big enough excuse for a sickie

This x mas with my friend at the Allegro Riveria in PEK
I personally preferred the Riveria it was the best holiday i have ever had, and met the most amazing people.
Already planning my return visit next year:P

I just got back home about one and a half hours ago. I can't believe that on Friday I was still in the desert.
This year was the best weather that we've had in the 3 years that we've been, in the south, Douz etc, we had 18-20 C during the day, lovely, I actually got a tan on my face and arms.
Excellent trip all round, I drove 3500 miles in the 24 days out of the country. Went to see Dougga, really good. Jugurth's Table was worth a visit too. The waterfall at Termersa was also impressive.

We have been five times. Four times in the Marhaba Beach, Sousse and once in the Houria Palace. Port El Kantoui. The latter hotel was only because we couldn't get in to the Marhaba Beach and it is definitely a case of the first and last time.

I first went to Tunisia in 1972 to the Marabout Sousse then again in 1972 to the Jawhara Sousse. Then again in 1975 to Jawhara again, followed by 2 trips to Kerkennah in 1980's. More recently with my family, 1999 to Marhaba Club, 200o to Marhaba Palace and hopefully in 2008 -haven't decided between the Riu Imperial or Riu Bellevue!! I like Tunisia!!

Too late nodocdoe, I'm already booked into the Carribean World at Borj Cedria for a couple of days next May. Actually it will be absolutely fine as I'm going out for a wedding in Tunis and most of the English guests will be staying there.
We have been 4 times,twice to Hammamet,stayed at the Narawhess in 1996 and 1998,beautiful hotel,then we did a day trip to PEK and loved it there,so in 2001 went to PEK and stayed at Golf Residence for 3 weeks,we got an amazing deal for £267,hotel was nice but food was awful.Then 3 years ago we went to Maharba Palace,couldnt fault anything,so we are going back there next week for 2 weeks,we have always gone with the same 2 friends,great for sharing taxis,and bartering together,really looking forward to going now,on countdown from work,will be struggling this last week!!.
