Rhodes is so Anglicised that you'll probably be able to get all that there! You can certainly buy Heinz baked beans and some supermarkets in the bigger resorts will stock British rather than Greek style bacon. Ham in all shapes and sizes! Kerrygold butter is seen more or less everywhere.
We leave in under 3 weeks, and I would like to do the same. If anyone has any information please can they help both of us. I plan to contact our airline over the weekend to check with them, but would like to hear from someone that has already done it.

it's half the price as well
Stop and search policies have been implented at Diagoras airport (Rhodes) primarily to stem the flow of controlled substances but as your bags and cases are scanned when you check in, if any restricted goods are discovered you will be asked to remove them from your baggage.
Having said that. The majority of goods that you are likely to require are available in Rhodes anyway.

Ok you might pay a little more for some of the more familiar, imported food on the island but if it's confiscated you'll end up paying twice over!!
(If you like a certain brand of tea it's worth it as they only seem to sell the Lipton Yellow label which is awful.)
Wouldn't see the point of taking anything else though - too much to carry and as everyone says its available there easily enough.
Part of the fun for me is looking around the food shops at the local 'delicacies' and trying to decipher what they are !
We only take coffee as for the rest you can get it in any supermarkets on Rhodes
