I've just booked a late last minute deal with Redcrest, going out this Saturday (13th). I know its not going to be a tent as its "accommodation with private shower and toilet".
Just wanted to know if anyone has any hints/tips for me. I'm taking a guess that I'll end up in Estartit since thats where they have most of their accommodation. Has anyone did a last minute deal with them before?
I've been to Castell Montgri before, 13 years ago when I was 16, so I'm really looking forward to it. I've picked up from this site that there is a Lidl's pretty near the campside entrance and as this is a really really cheapy holiday (I only got back from Turkey last month) I'll be using Lidl's a lot and have the case packed with Savoury rices, pasta and sauce etc for my three year old.
What sort of food etc do they serve on the coach. Would I be best packing my hand luggage with lots of food etc? Do you think I'll survive the coach journey with a mental 3 year old?
All other hints and tips greatly appreciated, the last time I did this journey I only had myself to think about!
Ooooo its exciting, wonder where I'll end up.
Thanks for all hints/tips in advance.

) - Actually, if you are heading out on Saturday, you might get Mandy, and her driving hubby Stevie....if you do, tell them Cidermonster says hi!
Let us know what it says on your tickets, i can maybe give you a better idea of what you'll get!
Am quite disappointed, we're off to Empuriabrava, Castell Mar. I was so positive it would be Castell Montgri, but hey ho thats the chance you take with an aoa type deal isn't it!
Spent a lot of this week going to and fro to your neck of the woods!
