Family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children looking for short break deal on Caravan in Dorset area. Would consider other areas down south!
Done a websearch and can't find much. Any suggested weblinks to try?
Don`t know the website, but Durdle Door near Lulworth Cove is in a nice position, on the top of the cliff, above an absolutely stunning beach. It`s a fair climb down, but you sound like a young fit family, so should have no problem, and it`s worth it when you get to the bottom. Fabulous cliff scenery round there as well, with a good walk around the cliff edge from the site into Lulworth Cove itself.
Hello again, the website for Durdle Door is http://www.lulworth.com
Thanks NP, we went to Lulworth some yeras ago when the kids were younger. They'd probably find it 'booooooooooooooring' now but they say that about the latest Playstation game or video as well!!
Checking out the link...............looks like we'll struggle to get a sensible price anywhere in August

Holsio, like you say, you`ll find it difficult to get a site at a good price in August, especially if you`re after all the facilities to keep the kids amused. Maybe on a small, quiet site, but that probably wouldn`t go down very well with the kids, would it?
We may be able to get a luxury log cabin on last minute booking, which is quoted at £200. Seems like a good price, may even get them down a bit, but don't know what site it's on yet?
