has anyone been to this hotel
we are looking to go nxt may,,there will be approx 8ad and 6 kids,,all family
we have been on line at portland hols and been quoted only 476.00 for a week from edinburgh for family of 3 good price but
not if its a dump,,looks good on screen but need feedback thanks
We stayed there twice last year so must have been good!We had a really good time and most of all the kids loved it too.The reps are great with the kids and we could approach them at any time if we had any problems. There was a few problems with pool at the time as tiles kept coming loose from the bottom but that was quickly resolved, the pool area is huge. The entertainment was good,i think from 8.00pm till 9.00pm was kids music and games then bingo and quizes then from 10pm there was a show, both thomson and fiesta reps kept the children entertained.Like i say we loved it, my daughter and nephew want to go back this year but we are going to fiesta club don toni in ibiza,so this will be similar.Hope this helps
thanks,,it was a great help,,hope to book this week
You are going to love don toni, was there a couple of years ago with 2 other adults and 4 kids. absolutely loved it so went to bahamas beach club( 2 hotels up from don toni) the next year. kids are always asking to go back to ibiza but we just fancied a wee change.
have a fab holiday
Use the search or have a look in the review section, there's loads on the Tropico.

We had a good time 4 years ago, but there have been some bad reports especialy the Jungla which is next door!
We stayed in the Sahara over the road twice, which you can share facilities with!! ITS SO CENTRAL!!
Hi there, we went in October and loved it. there were 3 adults and 2 kids with us. The facilities are great, the pool fantastic and the Fiesta reps were brilliant, especially when my son had a bad allergic reaction to something, they did all they could for us and managed to keep him happy when we returned from the doctors after a couple of injections, they took his mind off the rash he had. I would definitely recommend these apartments for families, but not in the July/August period when it is mainly young adults/teenagers etc.
Tropico is about 80% families in Jul/Aug, Sahara is about 40-30% families and Jungla is 0% families!!!
We stayed in the Sahara last year and there were a couple of families there but most wanted to be moved and I hope they do not send anyone there looking for a relaxing break. (or the vicinity) If you going mid season avoid it like the plague unless your 18-30. I am in my 20's, travelled with a group of girls my age and even we were annoyed and at times disgusted by the behavour of our fellow guests we like to have a good time as much as the next person but it was unbearable. Loud music all hours of the day, vomit everywhere. The people in the room above threw up over the balcony most mornings, bathroom was clearly to much effort to reach! shouting and running up and down the corridors etc..We went half board and if you do so in the other hotel this is where you would eat. We spoke to other guests who were staying in the other properties and I got the impression it was the same there too. I needed a holiday when I got back!
It was great as a base and SO CENTRAL as Ive said before....everything was 5 mins away. It was me and my mate who went and we met a Welsh family while we were there on holiday and we used to go down and have a drink and play the quiz with them before going out.
God, the fans! The one in our room made this noise all the time! It was just to hot to have it off and no amount of complaining to reception helped so we had to grin and bear the creaking and banging!
LOL ours was the same!! It made so much noise thought it was gonna fall off and chop me to bits!!
Did not get the chance! We were above the restuarant and below a group of lads that thought it was fun to throw up over the Balcony most mornings when they returned. Pebble dashed towels and swimwear...fun! I have stayed in various "18-30" style propertise in Malia, Playa Las Americas, San An and this is the worst guest wise. Its a shame because the resort is so nice (off season!)
