he phoned one but thought it was exspensive so they have just gone off on chance, to be honest he is a bit of a know it all, i gave him some i'd spent all day looking up, but he said he would find one no trouble without even checking them out, so we shall see,

I live in the south of the Lakes but all the ones around here have full signs up, he will probably be eating his words ! unless someone squeezes him in which I suppose is easier with a Motor home

......I passed a local campsite this morning.....couldn't see any grass at all, just a multitude of multi-coloured tents squeeeeeeeezed together.....not much chance of any tranquil Wordsworthian contemplation of our peaceful hills and valleys.........
.......I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up in a layby somewhere ; it never fails to surprise me how some owners of obviously very expensive motorhomes are seemingly content to sleep at the side of a busy road......

Unfortunately the UK is not like France and Spain for camping to be assured of a pitch in this country you do need to ring and enquire
