My partner and myself flew home from Zante Airport on 22nd September '05, cortesy of Alexandair Airways. On taking off it was announced that with regret several passengers' luggage would not be waiting for them at Manchester airport. On arrival we were told that 113 suitcases were missing. We were given a number to ring but it is a continuous recorded message which is not updated. I have since found a direct line number and after many attempts eventually spoke to a gentleman only to be told that the luggage is being returned in dribs and drabs! As yet I am still waiting to receive my luggage, (28th Sept ) and wash my clothes!!!! Take note, this is the first time this has happened to me in30 years, thank goodness.
