does anyone have a link to how i can obtain prices and information about sky digital in ibiza. i will be moving there in march.
thankyou
http://www.satellites.co.uk where you will get the info you require. i would suggest that you take your box and card with you to Ibiza as they will be expensive there. If you wish you can PM me and I will try to help. I know about Costa del Sol but not Ibiza.
log on to My parents have bought a place on mainland Spain (Costa Almeria) and they need a dish thats 1.3m (just over 4 feet in diameter). Be careful of planning laws as well which defines where your dish can and can't go. E.G. Not overhanging a balcony or over someone elses property, etc.
Hope this helps.
Can't use freeview here. You can use a small digital dish but will get only sky one, gold, living, news and 1 or 2 others. You'll need a 1.8m dish to get all channels. If living in a community the porter will advise you and you can latch on to a communal dish (remember that the more people on it the weaker the signal) and if yuo are looking to buy or rent a place check out if you have your own roof space or there is a communal roof to put your dish up first.
Lots of sat men out there but one you can trust is called "Jurgan" (The German) who is fairly well known on the Island and I should think he still advertises in the local ex pat rags such as the "Ibiza Sun"
John.
P.S. Dont be tempted to go bigger than a 1.8 as the 2.4m doesnt work as well.......
