You willl love puerto rico it has two shopping centres, the bottom one being the most lively.
The bars are open till all hours and when we night clubed we didnt get in till 7.40! Think that says it all really.

Me and my boyfriend both 24 would say this was one of our best holidays and the weather is unbearable. Be warned, slap that sun cream on as for some reason we both burnt there and do tan well usally. Saying that, we both got a fantastic tan it just seemed hotter there and the sun was much stronger.

Happy Holidays :fly

We went there last summer (Peurto Rico) and really enjoyed it. Great places to eat, friendly people and wonderful weather. The commercial centres were a bit too 'Neon' for us, but we simply ate elsewhere. Some of the reasturants near the beach have fantastic, fresh sea food.
We will be going back for sure...

Am heading to PR on 26th June staying in the Palmeramar Apartments. Going on a sc basis and am wondering how expensive it is in PR? Have been to GC before but stayed in Playa del Ingles. Any suggestions for good pubs/bars and places to eat near these apartments? Any info would be appreciated! :)

Is Puerto Rico far from PDI? We would like to go on the boat to Perto Mogan. Can you get a bus to P.R?

Me and my boyfriend are going away in July and are wanting to go to Puerto Rico.

Where would be the best place to stay as we want somewhere quite lively with a few bars/clubs but not too lively!

Any help appreciated.

Hello

I have the following map of Puerto Rico

http://www.canaryforum.com/gc/pricomap.html

I was wondering if someone could tell me where the centre of the resort would be?

Thanks!

on the map if you look at the road AVDA. DEL VALLE you will see the shopping center fase 1-2-3, this is is called the COMMERCIAL CENTER, this is the main area at the bottom off the hill, but if you look at the map, to the left, look for fase 6, that's the EUROPA CENTER, the main area at the top.

Hi, my family and I for the last three years have gone to PR in Sept or Oct, when it is still red hot and fairly busy. This year we are going 13th May for fortnight and I have heard that this is the quietest time for the Canaries and most places are being refurbished and having work done. Please can someone shed some light on the situation for me.......? We don't want to be in a ghost town!!!

Also what are the temps like in May in PR???

Thanks

it will not be a ghost town.
yes its a "bit" quieter, but still fairly busy, to be honest its not much quieter than sept, Oct, and as for the temperature, hot, hot, hot, like September.....don't worry :D :D :D enjoy!!!

The weather will be great in May, but it can cool down at night and you may need a hoody or something. Depends how brave you are!
As for it being quiet....there is no chance. I friend of mine is there at the same time as you and she is a right party animal!!!!

Hello all,
I am thinking of taking my girlfriend away to PR this summer, I would appreciate any advice re the following the questions I have,
1) Whats the general atmosphere like? How safe and secure is the area?
2) Any recommendations as to what currency I should take, all case, travellers (can they be easily changed?) and importantly how much should I budget for the two of us for food?
3)Where/who is the best place to get airport transfers from?
4) Also appreciate recommendations on hotels- are the Marina suites really as good as I've read?? Can anyone give further description of them, the rooms etc?

Thanks everyone! :D
