Hi All,

I'm new here, I'm getting married in May in Protaras, Im staying at the Grecian Park and getting married in Paralimni town hall, I read an excellent review of someone who got married in the GP at the Panoramic View area, i contacted Thomas Cook and tried to change the venue, but unfortunatly this is all booked.

Has anyone on here got married in Parilinmni town hall? I was also thinking of having a reception in a local Taverna but after reading some posts i might just choose to have the reception in the GP

Can anyone give me some advise

thanx Orla

Hi All

I've just booked my wedding in December through Cyprus Dream Weddings. Has anyone got pictures or info about their wedding with them?? We're having our reception afterwards at the Atlantida Restaurant. Can anyone tell me what happens once we arrive?

Thanks - and congrats to all of you who're doing the same as me!!! :D

Hi Orla,

Have you been given the option of being married at the Dherynia Folk Museum ? We were married there in May 2004 and had a fantastic day. We stayed in the Sunrise Beach in Protaras. All in there were 48 of us and we held our reception at the hotel.
I know that a few others who frequent the board were married at the museum also.

Cheers,

Preston

Hi there,

I got married at Germosogeia last September and it really it is a lovely place.
I used Medweds and they are fantastic. They will show you round Germasogeia before the wedding and run through what will happen on the day.
You can see some of my wedding pics on Medweds website under Recommendations, Limassol and also under Pissouri (I had a religious ceremony too)

p.s. forgot to add - I was going to take silk flowers to Cyprus too but thought they might get crushed in transit.
So I had real flowers supplied by Medweds, a beautiful bouquet of ivory roses. My bridesmaids had bouquets of ivory roses too, the ladies had ivory rose corsages and my hubbie and the men had gorgeous ivory rose buttonholes.

Hello.

Me & my Fiance are looking at booking our wedding for July 2007. we have looked at all the wedding planners on the internet and they all seem very good. In particular wedmeds & cyprusdream weddings. I was wondering if any one has used these companies or if you have used another company that you can recomend. I'm not interested so much in the cheapest as we want a good proffessional company.

Any tips or help would be great. We are looking at booking accommodation with these companies too, would this be cheaper than booking a package holiday? We are looking at getting married at St george's chapel.
Thanks for any info.

Hi there, We recently got married in cyprus and after alot of research we chose Aphrodite Wedding Services. They were absolutely fantastic and excelled our customer delight. From the moment we made the exquiry to the day we got married they made sure that everything was organised with minimal effort to us!!! To the point where Sandra actually went looking for pebbles with us so we could write our guests name's on them for the reception. Both Sandra and Jenny made sure that our day was perfect, We are truelly grateful to them both and can only repay them for all that they did by highly recommending them to anyone who is considering marrying in Cyprus. A*****. We would also like to recommend the La Cultura De Gusto restaurant again the staff and service was A1..We hope this helps any1 looking for a good wedding co-ordinator !!

I hope you post all the fantastic feedback and pictures that you have sent to me.

Just makes me want to do it all over again 8)

Maybe I will get my 1st child christened with her services. I am sure the registrar would have no objections
