Travellers Rest Aparts please just it would be nice to see the place thanks, looking forward to getting there go on the 7 th aug so lucky to get booked and also good flights and price £750 for 3 of us roll on aug.

We are off the Travellers Rest 6 weeks tomorrow. Had a look around them last year, they are newly renovated, very clean, light and airy. Lovely big pool, and by all accounts a really good restuarant.

There were us, and three other families staying just down the road at Avlu IV, who have all booked to go to travellers - at the same time, will be lovely to meet up with them all again, cant wait.

We're staying there again 2 weeks on Monday, I'll PM you a link to look at shadyzzz with a couple of piccies. You'll like it, its a nice friendly place.

I have just stayed at travellers rest apartments and I was very happy. This is my families second time staying at travellers rest and we met several other families who were also on their second stay at these apartments. They are very clean and airy and the towels and sheets get changed every two days and the cleaner comes every day. There was a welcome pack in the apartment which consisted of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits. This is a godsend if you arrive after the supermarkets are closed. The return transfers are included . My family have been to icmeler 14 times and they have had to pay transfers of about 45.00 pound x 12 for airport transfers, but not when they have stayed at the travellers so this is a big saving. Air con is extra but this is clearly labelled and all other apartments charge you extra for air con anyway so this is a fair charge, especially when you consider you are saving money on airport transfers. There are no hidden charges as people have previously suggested on this forum as there are laminated signs displayed which detail any extra charges outside the office/reception. There is a large bookcase of books to read, a pool table, quiz night with cash prizes, rock and roll, curry and race nights. Its over the road from the supermarket and the dolmus (bus) is 1 minute walk away. They also exchange money. The turkish staff are proficient at English and if they didn't know the answer to something you asked they went and found you the answer. Christine also does great food, curry night, fish and chip shop and english bakery and a takeaway. There is a nice pool with a modern bathroom nearby and a pool bar. We will again be coming back to these apartments in 2008. Email me if you need any more information. All in all a great experience.

hi i know its a bit late as iv been back from the travelers for over 10 month now but it was spot on!! meet some great bods there and all seem to have booked up again for this year !! so that speaks for itself ,
we also booked up be back there on the 2nd aug...so il see you all there cant wait !!

If you read the reviews it will tell you which company they travelled with.

Paty, you book the apartments direct and the cost includes a pick up from Dalaman so all you have to do is book your own flights.

We are going to a 5* AI ( family) but I would much rather have gone to the Travellers, we have stayed there the last two years and loved it. I will get that number for you later on, filed somewhere.

The prices for this year are £230 for one week and £320 for two weeks includes Airport transfer, safe and aircon are additional charge, very reasonable. When we stayed there as well as welcome packs there was large container of fresh water with a pump so you never had to buy water just fill bottles and leave in fridge. Toilet rolls were also supplied the only apartment I have known to do so.

is the £320 for 2 weeks,per person or per apartment?
do they have tv's in the rooms? i know,we are on holiday,but hubby likes the t'v,when we are getting ready,to go out.
also are they central,as we have never been before & are looking for somewhere central.

The price is per apartment which can sleep up to four. There is no TV, only in the restuarant and by the pool bar, full sky.
The apartments are five mins walk to centre but lots of bars and restaurants around and they are also on the dolmus bus route. Opposite the main supermarket Tansas. I you do decide to book ask for the aparts with two balconies.
