The question is do we take sterling traveller cheques or euro ones?

We always go for Sterling.

Last year we ordered sterling travellers cheques through HSBC online, and providing ordered at least £500 were charge & interest free.
Could have them delivered to home or local branch.

Have ages to wait until I go to Cala Millor (17 August).........

are there cash machines in cala bona that accept nationwide flex debit cards as i have just read an earlier topic that says nationwide allows you to get money out with no charges, cheers tel.

Link to list of ATM's in Cala Bona that will accept Nationwide card - the card we were issued with is a Nationwide Visa Debit Card

You will have no problem using it in Mallorca.

Really easy to apply for - we applied for ours on a Friday and the following Friday we got all the account details and cards.

Hope this helps
