Kath HT Admin
Just done a weather check and it's around 70 to 72 during the day and around 62 in the evening with a bit of rain forcast for Saturday.
Ah well, can't have it all our way.
I'll bring back one of those welcome leaflets with a map of the complex on it and scan it in so everyone can see where the works are.
Speak to you all in a weeks time
DLJ
hope all is ok when you get there and you have good time
I would be interested to see what work is going on, not that it'll stop from going in anyway, i'm not sure if my email addy is/will show up from here, but if not, could you let me know in this forum and i'll post you addy if needed.
many thanks, Si.g

hi dsl
We are going to lobos in july, from these post's seem's to be
really nice. Just wondered how building work was doing?.
Also wanted to ask if fridges have a freezer compartment.
cheers.
yes the fridge as a small freezer compartment
as for the building works last i heard they werent a problem.believe they dont start till 10.00 am.
we are going in august
Just came on this site to register and saw this thread.
Just came back from Lobos Bahia on Sunday and it was fantastic. yes there is buliding work going on across from the apartments but you don't hear anything. There seems to be building work everywhere in Fuerteventura so it's not out of the ordinary.
Don't let it bother you. we had read a few reviews on other websites with people worrying about the building but it really is nothing to worry about.
Thanks for that davidb. You say you also use another site can you let me know which one .ta
Glad to hear you had a great time shoegal and building work not a problem. Also wanted to ask if any ceiling fans in apartments. can't wait to go now, know other people who have been before refurb and said it was good then.
there are no ceiling fans but you can hire fans from reception.last year it cost 12 euro refundable deposit and 10 euro a week hire.
the other site i use is http://www.fuerteventura.com
shoegal thanks for the update
thanks for replies
If you mean the hole where the market used to be opposite the Lobos Bahia, then no the hole just keeps getting bigger.
we are staying at lobos bahia for 2 weeks in august and was hoping that they had,nt started building there
Firstly, how bad is the building work near the hotel? I want to be able to relax!
Secondly - is there enough nightlife? I have read many mixed reviews - some saying there is enough, some saying its not lively enough. I suppose its each to their own/what you're used to, but - as a 24 year old couple - we would like a fair few bars to go to in the evening.
Please advise soon! Many thanks!
just got back from lobos yesterday morning
cant help on nightlife except try wakikis on the beach front gets busy about midnight till the early hours.or further in town the atlantico centre as a few bars and clubs.
no problems with the building works, they just digging a big hole on the corner of main street across the road from lobos.but honestly you wont know they,re there till you walk past.
was hoping to go back next year but having probs booking rooms
still heres hoping
lobos bahia is a great place too stay
Many thanks david b.
I am considering booking lobos bahia club for a holiday next week. I have read comments and most people seem very happy with the hotel and the surrounding location.
I was hoping to get more comments about the beaches. Are they nice, sandy? close by to the lobos bahia club?
Thanks
just got back from lobos bahia
the town beaches are a 10 min stroll which is pleasent enough.
the beaches are smallish but very sandy and a great place to lie back and chill.try the Corintia beach as an excellent cafe good food and great prices.if you want something a bit more exotic try la playe grande or olivia beach as its known.15 min bus ride at 1 euro each great for a day out .bus stops outside lobos bahia.
hope this helps
Another question, I have heard fuerteventura is quite a clubby place and popular for lads holidays.
I gather there are a quite a few bars and resturants but in general is it a rowdy place?
I ask because I am going with family and although not a problem for me and my sister, I don't think my parents will enjoy it.
