Hi I am due to go out on 29th may so will closely watch for those going earlier. Have been fed up we me having to tell FC what is going on with info from this web site, but still looking forward to a well needed holiday with too much food and definitely too much drink!worried about hubby and the kids and mozzies though.

got my mozzie bands for kids from mothercare and the ones for us off ebay and i have just got a net for the pram off a site on internet i just put in the search engine mosquito nets for prams and it brought up a site specially for traveling with children it was ten pound including delivery which take 48 hours if you can't find site let me know and i will find it for you hope this helps

Hi all, Mozzie bands im nearly sure someone told me Morrisons do them I have loads and loads of mozzie stuff, and the net for the pram you can get from any Mothercare store.For older kids also they do a brilliant life jacket, my sister has just bought one for her very boisterous 2 year old, because we know we wont be able to keep him away from the pools, it has nine compartments with floats in so you can take them out one by one has they grow in confidence, they cost £26.99 but like you lot I dont think you can put a price on safety.
As for Mozzie stuff if anybody gets stuck ask for Debbie and im sure Ill have something that can help.

just a reminder to those of you doing your last minute holiday shopping, if the mossies are anything like last year - i hope not - take plenty of antihistamines to stop any bad reactions and costly trips to the doctor. my husband missed taking his for one day and his bites swelled to such a size his arms and legs were about threee times their usual size! wilkinsons and savers do cheap packs at about 99p for 7 and asda do a liquid antihistamine for kids.

Following on from a seperate post by Colin about the Tropical now being Iberostar Tropical as the Iberostar group have bought the Tropical and Palace is still Pegasos group will this affect our holidays?
For those of us going when both sides are open that is.
Just wondering if it is owned by 2 seperate companies if we will definitly be able to use all facilities on both sides including bars restaurants etc?
I told him on his post you could but just wanted to be sure....checked the FC site and it didnt way anything different.

have just called a friend of mine who is the headman of sarigerme town
he told me that iberostar company has rented pegasos hotels tropical&palace. this company will managing pegasos hotels.
l think tourists coming to pegasos hotels will be using all facilities on both sides including bars restaurants etc.

Thats right iberostar is a good company. l know that they have a hotel in Marmaris called as iberostar Grand Azur said it is one of the best hotels in Marmaris. you can take a look at their website http://www.hotelgrandazur.com

First chance to log on for a few days and was expecting at least some reports from the early arrivals - but nothing! I hope that they have got there, the place is fantastic and there is just not enough time to spend an hour online to send us a report. Oh and that they are either too drunk or too full of excellent food to move.

Thanx for tips on mozzies.Wonder if anyone has had info on kids clubs. Have been told kids club caters for 9-11 yr olds and wondering what my 13yr old daughter will find to do!Not sure if the in2action bits running.Hope those gone find everything ok.

Deborah - ive been following your countdown ........ lol tomorrow means i can start my "14 sleeps"!
14 sleeps I cant wait although in that time i have to pack up and move house and i just realised that means im about a week without internet before i go! Help! What will i do without my daily visit here to catch the goings on!
Oh well ill just have to count on recognising all those from here going at same time by their messages so far ........ lol got a list of all those kids who are getting shouted at! My 2 girls are at the top of that list ! Does this place have a club for little madams who are 6 and 8 but actually think they are 18???!!!!

Louise, dont worry from a mum of a 15 and 9 year old girl, enjoy cos they only get more demanding as they get older, i feel like im the child and my 15 year old is the parent now thats the way she makes me feel. Just enjoy and see the funny side. The good thing about this complex is there is lots to vent their frustrations and hopefully they will be that shattered by the end of the day they wont be that demanding or should i say thats what im hoping for.But above all have a wonderful holiday and relax, looking after too girls I no you need to relax, my hubby will be working 24/7 while were away.

1st Choice have just phoned to tell me about the building site
They say i can view some pictures but they are via E.Mail and will take upto 24 hours, we are due to go on Monday Oh well what more can they do!

Stop right there dont worry!! Apparantly in Turkey they are not allowed to continue building work in the tourist season, so you may have a building site to look on but it will be noise free!!

Anne, I agree with Totya, do not worry about the building sites. Pegasus is that vast that even if work continues, you will be able to find a quiet place away from it. Whilst at the Tropical last year, work continued on the "fringes" of the site and you hardly knew they were there although admittedly it was only ground work and not any major building. Have a great holiday and try and post on here whilst you are there. Good luck.
