If you go to page79 glynis the ht admin babe has put this attachment on her message about a booklet called safe and sound I read it last night and it tells you all your rights and what you should do if you get to your holiday destination and things are totaly diferent to what you booked and how to complain. I have printed this out and I am taking it on holiday with me just in case .please please please have a read and do the same, then we, you and me wont be fobbed of when we get there if things arnt as they should be.
lets go on holiday to have a good time, but lets go prepared, keep your heads up

I had alook through all the photos for Pegasus Palace and I think it looks fantastic, I really hope the beach club looks as good.

Can I be really cheeky and give the early arrivals a wish list of photo's that I would like to see?

The beach
The rooms, especially kids den room & bathroom
the pools
bars & resturant
& views

I wish we were going early now as the weather outside my house is fantastic and putting all the family in the mood, hence we woudl like to view the pictures!

I also have a few questions that I would really appreicate any of you returning from the beach club could answer?

Complimentary shampoo & shower gel is supposed to be provided, is it any good or is it worth taking our own products?
Towels, again supposed to be provided and I hope they are, are they OK and can you change them when you need to? I ask as we are a family of 5 and towels seem to take up the whole suitcase!
Whats the food and drink like?
what is the best time to eat and drink i.e to avoid the queues?
whats the best excursions and how much do they cost?
What is Kos airport really like?

LisaLondon - know how you feel. For heaven's sake I'm not even going and I still hang around the boards as I've made so many friends (and there is only 1 set of people going where I am going anyway so nobody to talk to on those boards).
McFester - good idea to have wishlist of photos and I look forward to seing them from the first people that go out there. MattCorby, Rep where are you???? You go soon so could get piccies for everyone (if you are allowed).
I am still so gutted not to be going as I was our First Choice of holiday and the facilites, beach etc all seemed like they were going to be fab (I know they were artists impressions but if you see the pics on site you can see that the impressions seemed to be about right).
So where we all going next year together (that'll be a booking for an entire plane!!!) - and can it not be a new build please?

I don't mind where we go next year as long as it is Hot, mmm last week in May when the kids are on a break. Don't fancy Lanzagrote went there a couple of years ago, very cloudy and very barron....Tunisia was so so....didn't like some of their ways....mmm..Crete was lovely and so was Kos....I am really up for this...and I nominate....Michelle to sort it all out...I will be her assistant.....I found a holiday for the summer and Michelle rechecked all the details for me and we deceided...womens logic that I had found a real bargain!!!!.......

Are any of the 24thers up for clubbing together on the plane for a bucks fizz......who is providing the valium to pop just before we land so that we are oblivious to the state of the hotel....maybe an E or two....then we will hallucinate......he he...only joking....I don't do drugs...just alcholholllleeeee can't spell...its tooo earrrrrllyyyy...

I cant plan anything for next year yet which is really frustrating as normally id have next years booked by now, but BIL is getting married next year somewhere in greece (just my luck it be KABC lol) if he dont get his ass in gear there will be nothing left and we will be paying 4th addition prices.

The girls are going away with their dad next august, so me hub and baby will try to get away then if we can, wont be taking kids out of school anymore from this sept onwards as daniella will be working towards her GCSE's.

Hi Lisa When I went into travel agent ( co-op ) last tuesday she said the tickets should be here by fri/sat 5/6th but when I phoned them yesterday to ask if tickets had come in she said no they usaully arrive 2 weeks before so to expect them middle of next week?????? I don't think they really know themselves!! But hey don't worry lisa it will all be fine, and we will have a wonderfull holiday!!

We decided this year to book something soley for the kids where they have lots going on for them ( nearly considered the jupitor/saturno in majorca alcudia as the facilities looked excellent for the kids but just couldn't quite get passed the negative butlins / drunken brits comments on the review board, but saying that I am almost wishing we had!!! at least we know all facilities and beaches etc are up and running! Anyone been there that can comment ?? )

Mc fester I think I mentioned this to you before but I am NOT taking 7 beach towels as it states that they are provided (which on our other holidays this is the case and you swap them throughout the day when they get grubby,) ( Even with your own towels they get grubby so you have to launder them daily and it's just extra all the time!) but should this not be the case I will buy some there keep the reciepts and stick it up f/c a*se when i get back along side any other negatives!!
Obviously the room towels are different and are changed as stated 3 times per week which i'm not that happy about but at least they arn't subjected to sand & lotions and sweat as much as pool/beach towels

MAY i suggest that all members print the safe and sound booklet and take it with you fore armed is forewarned..
