We go on 31st May Cathy, there are 12 of us! 6 adults and 6 kids.

I go to KABC on 9th Aug for two weeks.
Did anyone have their flight times changed. I fly from Gatwick and had my flights put back by three hours each way.
FC did not offer compensation as it is not more than a 3hr change.
I am travelling with 3 children and don't land home till 9am after leaving room at 6pm (late check out booked)
broucher says poolside snackbar entertainment bar .lobby bar 2 poolside bars Mexican.greek.and rooftop Italian restaurants thats in the Nov2006 to October 2007 guess the chefs have been changed to chinese and aisian
My flights were changed from 9pm to 7am!!! thats more than a 3hr change and I haven't been offered any compensation.......I was just informed that if I cancelled I would not be charged a cancellation fee!!!!!
Ive just spoken with FC and they have said that they are being reassured daily that the building work is due for completion and ready to open on 24th may. She said that a power cut and storms had put back the work and that is what caused many hols at start of may to be cancelled.
I asked how far in advance we would know if there are more delays with the opening and she said theyd hope to give us 4/5 days notification but worst case scenario would be they would have to offer us a similar holiday to the one we have booked.
I dont really believe anythign they tell me now as the last guy said that everything was built and ready already but this site then proved that he was talking through his arse.
Im so worried about this now. I feel a bit helpless and just feel we have to wait to see what happens.
PS We have had our tickets ready for dept 24th may

Now I am seriously I am so unhappy, How very dare they!!! Where on the planet is there going to be a decent f***in hotel with places for another hotel.......They can let me down fine, but not my two children.....If i deceided I didn't want to go I would have to give them more than 4/5 days notice without losing my money. This really isn't on. This was a treat for my two children who will have just completed some very stressful SAT exams, it has cost nearly £1,500 for a week and has caused, and still is causing me some unnecessary stress.
This should be a happy time, and frankly FC you can FC right off!!!

I would definately speak to them regarding that big delay - have you had to take extra days off work - tell them it is unpaid. tell them you were originally getting a lift to airport now you have to get there yourself. all extra costs.
regarding pegasus palace, i went there last august and it was a fantastic holiday - that is why i booked another holiday village.
I lost my parking deal as It was one of those no cancellation ones, but was told that i could not get the money back. I have had to take an extra half a day off of work and I lose half a day in the sun as well.
I cant belive they have made more changes, no entertainment bar now? so does that mean no entertainment? i mean if your sitting in a room where the entertainment is where do you get your drinks from? hike half way across the complex to bar, maybe its to stop us having too much all inclusive!
In regard to the beds, I prefer twin bed pushed toghter as they end up being bigger than a double bed, im used to a superkingsize bed at home so hate sleeping in a double now, means I have to get close to max, which he always takes a sign for something else nudge nudge wink wink lol
I went into first choice today to enquire about KABC, mainly because I was bored and wanted a laugh, which I got, as she switched on her robot pre programme voice, saying "oh yeah everything is fine, all on schedule for 24th may".
Looking on the bright side - if they've changed the type of restaurant, does this mean that one is actually built and has staff!!!
ive just looked and thats for 2007 - this year the only thing that pops up as a change when doing a dummy booking for 27th may - june is that the horseriding is no longer available, whereas do the same booking for 2007 it then shows the bar changes, dont understand why something can be up and running this year, and not next year though, but hopefully for us lot the only change now at present is NO HORSERIDING everything else as listed in our brochures when booking is still all ok.
they are very clever, depending on far away will depend on comp!

Mine was more than 56days. I was given the right answer but wrong reason.
I have checked on website and my original flight is still operating, I am trying to get through to fc now to see how they decide who gets bumped off.
I have 3 children!!!
I can't remember off hand i will try and look back at the paperwork when i get home.
The reason was....mmm...not enough people on the night flight..and they basically said that i should be happy as most people prefer the early morning flight......mmm am I most people......and actually it was more conveniant as the children could have gone to school on the Wednesday...anyway...how can i check if the flight I was on is still on if you get my drift.........
leanne - theres not alot we can do about it, as we all had to sign to agree to the change, which we did, thats where they now have us, we have tried to change our holiday to somewhere else based on this, as its classed as a major change in holiday, but because we signed forms thats it as far as fc are concerned. We were told that due to increase in sales for Kos this year they were changing us to an earlier flight, I suspect it was the over way round myself.
