No - we haven't received any notification, however, one of the times I spoke to FC, they confirmed that we did have a King Size Bed and two sofa beds in separate lounge area!!

Probably all changed, that was a couple of weeks ago

It's hard to keep up - at least the 24thers will be able to tell us exactly what we have got.

Oh, by the way, don't worry about tickets, my friend who's in the travel industry, said that usually companies like to send tickets out 2 weeks before, however, they can leave it till only 10 days before, so don't panic........... yet!

Thanks Julie. Personally I don't mind twin beds, especially when you're hot and sunburnt!! It's just annoying that it's yet another change they have made!!

That's true about twin beds when you're sunburnt - that's why I like the idea of a Kingsize Bed, more room to spread out!!!

Well I don't fancy sleeping in a single bed.......I will probably end up having a bit too much to drink and falling out.....Maybe I will put the kids in the bedroom and i'll sleep in the lounge.......wishful thinking that we are still actually going!!!

The room change to beds is this for standard room or to all rooms !
As I have booked a suite for 5 which should have a king size bed and the 3 sofa beds in lounge!!!

According to the website -
Standard rooms sleep up to 4 and feature a separate bedroom with twin beds and a lounge area with 2 sofa beds. Facilities include shower with complimentary toiletries, air-conditioning, hairdryer, satellite TV, fully stocked fridge*, microwave, telephone, safe and tea/coffee making facilities and balcony or terrace.
Standard rooms with a bath, balcony and king-size bed in the bedroom are available at a supplement. These rooms are also available with a sea view at a supplement.
Family suites sleeping up to 5 (with king size bed in a separate bedroom and 3 sofa beds in a separate lounge) have facilities as per standard rooms and also feature a jacuzzi bath, available at a supplement.
Rooms with a Kids Den are available at a supplement and are only available on rooms with a bath, balcony and king-size bed, for which there is also a supplement. Facilities are as per standard rooms, sleeping up to 4 people, with a separate themed Kids Den with bunk beds, TV and PlayStation 2.

I have also checked my April 05 and Dec 05 brochures and they say the same, so seems that if you have standard room it says twin beds. HOWEVER our invoice (which I still have as my memory of the holiday that never was ) definately says Double.

FC playing with us again?

we were told we had a king size bed and a single, our room is a twin double with inter-connecting door apparently, but as long as its clean i dont mind cos i dont intend spending much time there, and lets face it guys everything will still probably be covered in polythene!! everyone seems much happier now than they were a few weeks ago we need an "official" organiser for the 24thers opening party.... any volunteers?????? think other people could have a vote on the forum it would be fun. Personally I don't think FC have a clue what they're doing, what they have done and what they plan to do in the future They'll probably deny all knowledge of a brochure next!!

I bet they hate the day this forum was ever started Me - I love it, at least it's made the build up to the holiday more interesting. I've never met "holiday friends" prior to the holiday before!!

its more than interesting munskinn, its a fix!!! im normally pretty level headed, ive tried to get my hubby to join on the forum but he likes to meet people when he gets there, he thinks im mad!! ive told him there seems to be a lot of other mad people joining us for the same fortnight!!!!!

its gonna be one long party sam.........you can be in charge of the 31sters!!! we were all inc at mexico last year and no matter what we all met near the pool bar about 3ish through the day and had a few drinkies whilst the kids were in the pool, and it got us in the mood for the evenings,it was a great atmosphere and i dont think it would have mattered if there were any more guests at the hotel cos we just had fun, and the kids were altogether..

hi on our booking we have paid supplement for double beds in rooms on letter recieved on saturday says FCstaff in Kos have said only single beds in rooms so wat about the 588pounds we paid extra .Going to travel agents this afternoon will let you all know outcome

cathy, we enquired into this as there are only 3 of us travelling but there are; room sups 3 @ 42.00 £126.00
room sups 3 @ 14.00 £ 42.00
we were told that the double room with adjoining room was all that was available when we booked last august, and to change to another room it would cost us around £50.00 per person. so in theory we would have to pay for a downgrade!!! I dont think so but with everything else that had been going on it just added to in my opinion the ____fall of fc____. we have said that we will never book again with them.

Well I have a Suite for 5.....so I presume that I have a king size bed, and two sofa beds in the lounge area??? Do I have a Jacuzzi bath as well???

hi just got back from travel agents we are getting money back for room supplements now how 2 twin beds in room and 2 sofa beds i think FC have lost the plot will never book with them again

If you go into First Choice to do a dummy booking this is now what you get

1. Mexican restauarnt will now be chinese/asian themed

2. bars in the complex will consist of a poolside bar a lobby bar restaurant bar and a rooftop bar

More changes!!!
